Amorim Tells Man Utd Players They Cannot ‘Hide’

After a disappointing season, Manchester United’s manager Ruben Amorim’s players were booed off after a friendly defeat in Malaysia, and manager Ruben Amorim said on Thursday that they were unable to “hide.”

United immediately flew out on Sunday for lucrative friendlies in Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong after finishing 15th in the Premier League and failing to win a trophy.

However, his team lost 1-0 to a Southeast Asian XI on Wednesday in the capital of Malaysia if they were hoping for some respite in Asia.

United’s players left on their feet while hearing boos as they faced another friendly against Hong Kong’s representative team on Friday.

At the conclusion of a long and unsatisfying campaign, Amorim said, “We’ve had the season that we had and it’s not easy for us to face the fans around the world.”

“But we also want to give fans something,” he continued. We are traveling, don’t have the necessary adjustments, and don’t have the necessary time to communicate with fans.

“But it’s obvious that we cannot hide,” adding that “if there is one thing that is truly important in this club, it’s that we need to face our fans right now and give something to our fans all over the world.”

Amorim, who succeeded in improving the performances of his side of first-teamers and youngsters, said that his team was “not really focused” on Wednesday’s defeat.

Everyone can sense it, they say. But he said, “I understand the fans (booing), I understand the players, and you also understand that we want to give the fans something,” “but it’s difficult in this moment.”

The Portuguese coach, who is 40, claimed to have learned that being Manchester United manager meant being “more than a coach.”

You must improve as a person and a leader, they say. I try to control that, but you may notice that I’m occasionally frustrated after the games.

He continued, “When you have results, everything becomes so much easier.”

On the eve of the game, heavy rain poured down on the 40, 000-capacity Hong Kong Stadium, making Amorim desperate to avoid any additional injuries to wrap up the campaign.

Amorim made fun of the fact that “the weather looks like Manchester.”

The best way to protect our players from injuries, he added, is if we are professional and concentrate on the game.

Injured Knight to miss rest of England’s summer

Heather Knight, an England batter, will miss The Hundred and will miss the rest of the summer due to a hamstring injury.

During England’s third T20 victory over West Indies on Monday, the 34-year-old former captain Knight suffered the injury.

In the 17-run victory over the batswoman, she was unable to take the field for the second innings because of her limp and struggled to run between the wickets at the end of her knock.

According to the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), a scan on Tuesday revealed a “significant tendon injury to her right hamstring.”

The three-match one-day international series against West Indies, which kicks off on Friday at Derby, has added Alice Capsey, age 20, to the squad.

England’s bowler Kate Cross remarked, “We are all devastated by Heather.”

She has never suffered injuries before. She has stated she will aim for the World Cup, and having that big competition in mind will give her the motivation to ensure she is there for it, but I don’t believe that makes it any easier. However, she has already stated that it will make it easier.

Nat Sciver-Brunt (capt, The Blaze), Amy Jones (The Blaze), Charlie Dean (Somerset), Emily Arlott (Warwickshire), Tammy Beaumont (The Blaze), Lauren Bell (Hampshire), Alice Capsey (Surrey), Sophia Dunkley (Surrey), Mahika Gaur (Lancashire), Sarah Glenn (The Blaze), Lauren Filer (Durham), Emma Lamb (Lancashire), and Linse

A further three T20 matches and three one-day internationals against India follow the Windies series, which will host the 50-over World Cup in September.

Although the ECB has not specified a date for Knight’s return, it is optimistic that she will be selected for the tournament in September.

Before being fired in March after the humiliating 16-0 Ashes humiliation at the start of the year, Knight led England for nine years. One month later, Nat Sciver-Brunt, 32, took her place.

The team’s transition is officially underway with Charlotte Edwards taking over as coach for the first time in the ongoing West Indies series.

With unbeaten knocks of 43 and 66, Knight was in excellent form in her first series back in the batting ranks, which is a significant blow for England.

After winning their first title in 2024, Knight was scheduled to make a return to London Spirit for this year’s Hundred.

Due to hip surgery, she had to miss the Commonwealth Games, The Hundred, and the 2022 home series against India.

Spice Girls make £600,000 in record sales ahead of rumoured world tour

According to The Spice Girls’ accounts, there is still interest in their music despite rumors that they will reunite for a massive world tour.

The Spice Girls made more than £600,000 last year from money-spinning record sales – fuelling speculation that there could be a 30th anniversary reunion. Accounts for their firm Spice Girls Ltd show that they received £613, 275 in royalties for 2023.

The firm also retained more than £32,000 in cash in its coffers. Geri Horner and band guru Simon Fuller are said to be back in touch, with rumours the pair were meeting up in Miami earlier this year.

Victoria Beckham has told pals she is “90 percent out of the running” but Geri, Emma Bunton, Mel B and Mel C are said to be considering a lucrative world tour next year. There have even been claims that Victoria could appear as an ‘avatar’, used in the hugely successful Abba shows in London. The Spice Girls’ debut single ‘Wannabe’ was released in 1996 and propelled them to global fame. The latest accounts show there is still an appetite for their music, and suggest a demand to see them in concert.

Mel Brown has hinted that a world tour is possible. They would follow in the footsteps of Beyonce and Taylor Swift, who enjoyed hugely lucrative ticket sales for their shows. Taylor Swift grossed £1.4bn in ticket sales.

This week, Mel, known as Scary Spice, made hints that the girls might have other plans in mind.

“We’ve got a year to work on them. Let’s put it that way,” she said. The group has not performed as a five piece since the 2012 Olympics Closing Ceremony. They did a reunion tour in 2019 without Victoria.

As part of Victoria’s celebrations for her 50th birthday, all five of the five spent an evening together in April of last year. They were hoping to get back together once more, which was strengthened by this.

Band members have spoken openly of that as a possibility for next year. As a guest on Australia ’s 2Day FM in March, Mel C said: “It’s 30 years next year since the release of Wannabe. We have to do something special.

We are talking about things, of course, but I can’t say too much. A fun little world tour, I hope.

I hoped that we would come back together as a collective in April, Geri said.

‘It’s like magic’: Vogue Williams on mess-free fake tan and the skin ‘disaster’ behind her brand

Vogue Williams and our head of beauty catch up to discuss all things fake tan.

We catch up with Vogue about all things fake tan…(Image: Bare by Vogue)

Vogue Williams is the only woman who is particularly knowledgeable about fake tans. The mother-of-three launched Bare By Vogue in 2019 with the aim of creating a sunless tanning brand. In Vogue’s now expanding tanning collection, a must-have is available to those who initially didn’t want to switch to faux bronzing, largely because of her understanding of what consumers really want: a natural-looking glow that doesn’t feel sticky, smell, transfer, or stain sheets.

When I caught up with her, Vogue was full of helpful hints, tips, and honest accounts of her tanning life, which is ideal for someone like me who frequently appears to be in the middle of a fake tan disaster. And as it turns out, she herself has experienced similar circumstances. She had the idea for her entire business after a disastrous bronzing incident (more on this later). She tells me, “I wanted to make a tan that would fade naturally, so when you put it on, it would appear as though you had taken a two-week vacation, and that was really moisturizing on your skin.”

One of my biggest complaints with fake tans is that she’s also surprisingly straightforward about avoiding orange streaks on her pillowcase. She blatantly says, “Use the tanning water.” It resembles magic, they say. It persists without a trace and continues to grow throughout the day. I could put on a white top right away and it wouldn’t even come off. Therefore, it won’t undoubtedly go on your sheets. I know everything I need to know about her Bare by Vogue Clear Tan Water page on Boots, with repeat customers supporting the claims that the sheets are preserved.

Timing, it turns out, is everything when tanning. particularly during the summer. Vogue explains the science behind glow-enhancing science, despite the fact that many of us have been hesitant to apply tan at night in hot, sticky weather. I actually favor putting it on first thing in the morning. I usually get up early, and I can put it on in four or five hours so that I can get on with my day. The tan will be finished when it is too hot. You’ll be ready.

After I ask her how she feels about contouring and applying mousse to freckles, she mentions how she’s also dabbled in the trend of using fake tans for subtle enhancements. She says, “You’ve just made me think of the freckles.” “I used to do them constantly, but I’d forgotten about it for some reason.” Her method involves smearing the cap with a tiny paintbrush and applying tanning mist. “I just dab on tiny freckles with tiny bits of that.”

She uses her Bare by Vogue Face Serum, £26, as a base, before splurging on a deeper shade to give it some dimension for contouring. “Contrast with a dark if you’re using a medium-to-dark overall. Use an ultra-dark contour if you’re using a dark one. To blend it in, I’d probably use our tanning brush.

She goes all-in when it comes to planning for a big event or wedding. She says, “I’ll even apply some tan removal gel and remove everything.” It really helps to remove any color that has left over when I put it in my bath, which is a good thing. Then I’ll apply my tan to my body using my glove, shave my legs, and do everything. I’m then ready to go.

Vogue acknowledges that her own wedding tan predated the launch of her brand despite her expert routine now. “Vogue did it before Bale,” she said. What would have been my outfit? I’m not sure, to be honest. I can’t even recall the names of any additional fake tans. Ever the devoted founder of Vogue?

The moment when everything changed is what she does recalls. Unfortunately, Vogue, a brand she once adored, suddenly left her skin dry and flaky, a tale that is well-known to many a fan of tanning beds. It was probably my favorite tan at the time, but it really dried up my skin and caused me to become scaly. like skin that is lizard-like. And it was so difficult to get it off.

The very opposite of that was offered by Vogue’s Bare. a tan that is unflinchingly glow-free. She claims, “I’m really obsessed with safe tanning.” Simply put, I want people to love their skin. The gorgeous holiday glow can still be enjoyed without causing any harm.

Amad makes obscene gesture after ‘personal abuse’

Images courtesy of Getty

Amad, a winger for Manchester United, made an offensive gesture toward Malaysian supporters after receiving “serious personal abuse,” the club claim.

On United’s post-season tour, the Ivory Coast international was pictured raising his middle finger in front of the team’s hotel in Kuala Lumper.

On social media, a video of the incident was widely circulated.

United claim that the winger gestured in response to “grave personal abuse” his mother experienced.

On X, Amad wrote, “I respect people but not the one who insults my mother.”

“I don’t regret what I did, but I shouldn’t have,” he said.

The club does not believe that the abuse was racist and took place as United’s players made their way toward the team coach.

It was speculated that the 22-year-old had reacted when supporters yelled “Diallo” at him.

Following an investigation into allegations that false documents and fake parents were used to enlist him in the country, the Ivorian was implicated in a trafficking case while working at Atalanta and was fined £42, 000 by the Italian FA in 2021.

The player requested to be known as Amad after removing Traore from his name.

Amad appeared in the second half of United’ 1-0 defeat to the ASEAN All-Stars.

Real Housewives star Leilani Dowding rushed to hospital for surgery as fans concerned

After having surgery, Real Housewives of Cheshire star Leilani Dowding has worried fans. After having a septoplasty and endoscopic sinus surgery, Liliann shared her update from the hospital.

Leilani made it known that she had had an operation on social media. “Hello, ” she wrote. You were awakened by me. That makes sense, therefore. For me”. Then, a fan wrote, “Septoplasty? Use your ointment and nasal sprays properly to aid in healing, which is absolutely awful but well worth the results. Then she responded, “And fez drilled out my sinus. All gross and infected.

Chronic sinusitis and nasal polyps are frequently treated with functional endoscopic sinus surgery. Leilani shared more hospital photos, and she wrote, “This is the worst bit. Making me feel ill as I hold a needle out of my hand.

Prior to this tenth anniversary, Leilani had previously argued that she hadn’t been asked to return to Real Housewives.

Following the procedure, Leilani shared a photo (LeilaniDowding/X).

Due to the tenth anniversary of the show and the return of many of the cast members, she said, “Some of my friends and some people I don’t know who follow me or the show have asked if I’ll be coming back on The Real Housewives of Cheshire.”

“No, I haven’t been asked,” I replied. It’s because I’ve always been very open about issues in politics and society that nobody on mainstream TV should ever discuss. Additionally, I believe it is more likely because I won’t have a storyline to follow. I currently reside just a little south of the border, about halfway there. Since I left the show, I haven’t spoken to or hung out with any of the women.

She then revealed who she had spoken to since leaving the program and for which reason she had ruled out a return.

She said, “I’ve texted Ester a few times because she’s had some amazing events happen in her life and I loved her on the show,” and that she’s also texted Nermina several times at the horse show to let her know when she received the most horrifying diagnosis.

“No,” is the response to that. If someone asked me whether or not I would return if I was asked, the answer is also no. When we have such a nightmare and a significant fight in front of us to restore this nation, I simply can’t deal with the materialism and the minor disagreements.

The video, which Leilani posted online, has the caption “A few people have asked if I’m going to go back to the #rhocheshire as it’s the 10-year anniversary,” and the response is “No.” “Won’t shock me if I’ve been black listen from all mainstream TV,” she said.

I later added Leanne Brown, saying, “EDIT, I forgot Leanne was on it. I don’t consider her like a housewife because she wasn’t in the same season as me. She serves as my co-host on Ikonic, which I respect. She has a lovely soul. She deserves my utmost respect and admiration.
