Following their split two years ago, Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness have made a significant decision regarding their property empire. After almost three decades of dating, the couple split up in September 2023.

They had built a picture-perfect life, with homes across the world. However, this week, Deborra officially filed the divorce proceedings in a New York court house.

As the judgment of divorce is still pending, a judge needs to sign it off before the divorce can be officially made. Deborra, who adopted two children with Hugh, 56, is believed to have received a “handsome spousal support payment”.

Several of their luxury properties across the US, England and Australia were at the centre of their settlement. Their stunning homes include multimillion-dollar penthouses, a Hamptons estate and a retreat on Bondi Beach.

Hugh, who is currently dating actress Sutton Foster, is said to have secured the couple’s staggering $ 21 million purchase of their three-story condo in New York City.

A fashionable London penthouse for $ 21.25 million was also owned by the couple. Hugh is anticipated to become the couple’s new home in Bondi.

Once their marriage is officially annulled, according to a source, there won’t be any drama between the two. According to a source, “An attractive spousal support payment was reached that Deborra is pleased with.”

She continued to say to the Daily Mail, “There was some back and forth about this financial arrangement, but ultimately she got what she believed she deserved.”

Both parties are financially secure, they say. This provides the closure she needed without creating any drama.

Another source claimed that the divorce was “not contested,” claiming that the separated couple’s relationship wasn’t at all divisive.

It is believed that they had planned everything out in advance, including settling the dispute, paying alimony, and paying their children’s expenses.

The source continued, “They are friendly and fully committed to being the best parents you can be.”

Deborra also made an apparent attack on Hugh when she claimed that her “heart and compassion lay with people who had gone through a”traumatic journey of betrayal.” She claimed she had faith in a higher power.

She said, “This belief has helped me navigate the breakdown of an almost three-decade marriage.”

Returning to yourself and living within your own integrity, values, and boundaries is liberation and freedom, she said.

Everyone is on their own journey, she claimed, and while her ex-husband’s actions may have caused her harm, relationships are not” random. To learn from our mistakes and to acknowledge and repair the broken parts of ourselves, we are drawn to people and welcome them. I’m still so appreciative.

The couple announced their split in 2023, saying, “We have been blessed to have spent almost three decades as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage. We have chosen to separate to pursue our individual growth because our current journey is changing.

Former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan has sent fans into a frenzy after posting photos in some racy lingerie – showing her recent ex-boyfriend exactly what he’s missing. The launch of her new collection comes just weeks after her split from Robbie Talbot, 45, after the spark between them fizzled out after just over a year.

Her breakup is believed to have happened over a disagreement over having kids, with Helen wanting more with the already dad-of-two. But after having a “grown-up” conversation they realised they wanted different things and chose to split.

A source told The Sun: “They want different things in life. She has just landed a new acting job and is trying to juggle work projects with the kids.

She sat him down two weeks ago and said, “This isn’t working. It was a mature conversation. She only wants to be alone for a while while maintaining her feelings for him.

The 34-year-old looked incredible styling her own powder blue lingerie collection in collaboration with big brand Nikki Intimates, but there is no denying her return.

The mother-of-three continued, “I’ve always loved lingerie modeling, and I feel most confident and empowered when I do it.”

Helen is perhaps best known for playing Rose Webster on Corrie, first appearing on the Cobbles way back in 2000 where she would play the role on and off for the next 18 years before officially leaving the show, but during that time she was no stranger to a lingerie shoot.

She continued, “I think 21-year-old me would be proud that a mother of three, age 34, still has the confidence to do this”! Let’s love our bodies and be gentle to ourselves in our skin, even though my body has changed, but my message has not. I hope there is something for everyone in this price range.

Helen is now said to be wanting to concentrate on her career and family life, following her ex-boyfriend and father to her children Scott Sinclair and another significant break-up.

Real Madrid agree deal to sign Alexander-Arnold

After Liverpool agreed to pay a fee to let the defender leave his early on his contract, Trent Alexander-Arnold will join Real Madrid on June 1.

The fee, which Real have paid in a single, upfront payment, is 10 million euros (8.4 million), according to sources at Liverpool. The Spanish club’s sources have suggested they paid less, though.

The England right-back will now have to accept a payment to join Real ahead of the Club World Cup.

When his contract at Liverpool expired on June 30th, the 26-year-old would have been able to leave on a free transfer.

Alexander-Arnold’s contract includes a 1 billion euro (£840m) buy-out clause and he has agreed to a six-year deal.

For the expanded month-long Club World Cup, which begins on June 14 and is taking place in the United States, Fifa approved an additional window for teams to register new players for the summer, starting on June 10th.

On June 18 in Miami, Real plays Saudi side Al-Hilal in its opening group game.

Alexander-Arnold has played for Liverpool since he was six when he first moved to his hometown.

With the Reds, he has won two Premier League titles, the Champions League, the FA Cup, the FA Cup, the FA Cup, and the League Cup.

However, he claimed earlier this month that he had made the decision to leave and work for both “personally and professionally.”

In 354 appearances for the club, Alexander-Arnold has recorded 23 goals and 92 assists.

Along with former Liverpool and Real midfielder Xabi Alonso, he will also join England team-mate Jude Bellingham in Madrid.

‘Heartbroken’ Nicola Peltz escalates legal fight against NYC dog groomers over pet deaths

Nicola Peltz, the wife of Brooklyn Beckham, is reportedly bringing legal action against a grooming business in New York, alleging that Jony Ceballos, the owner, caused the deaths of two of her dogs.

Actress and heiress Nicola Peltz is accusing a New York pet grooming company of negligence in the deaths of two of her beloved dogs. She alleges that the same groomer who handled her chihuahua Nala – who died shortly after an appointment – is also responsible for the 2021 death of her French bulldog Frankie.

Before their grooming sessions with HoundSpa LLC and Jony Ceballos, Peltz, 30, claims their dogs were healthy. She calls Ceballos’ actions “intentional and malicious abuse of dogs,” claiming Nala was a “healthy, happy dog” who came home “in severe physical distress.”

Nala’s veterinary records revealed neurological issues and fluid in her lungs. She had chest pulsations, hyperventilation, and a pulsing, water-filled lungs, and hyperventilation, according to Nicola. Nicola was left emotionally devastated by the pup’s death hours later.

Her other dog, Angel, is now screaming and shaking when left alone, according to her lawsuit, which was filed last year.

Peltz claims that after Ceballos grooming Frankie, she realized she had also experienced trauma symptoms before Nala’s passing.

Frankie stumbling repeatedly as though he had been sedated after returning from his grooming with Ceballos. After that, he was later discovered that there was fluid in his brain, and some of it started to collapse, necessitating eye removal before he passed away months later. “Nicola cried and gave her dog; she never had any suspicions that someone tasked with taking care of her dog might have hurt him.”

Despite being repeatedly warned, Nicola also accuses the groomer of mistreating her brother’s dog, Banksy. She claimed that “he clearly frustrated me” and “hurt the conversation.” After that, Banksy said his eyes were “red and irritated, and had pus coming out of them.”

Despite complaints, no action was taken by HoundSpa’s owner, Deborah Gittleman. Now, according to Mail Online, Nicola has hired celebrity attorney Marty Singer – dubbed “Mad Dog” in Hollywood – to take the case to court.

The New York Supreme Court has mandated that both parties turn over important documents, including those relating to Nala’s necropsy and the company’s insurance policies. Before October 30th, Nicola must make an appearance for a deposition.

Similar concerns are expressed in online reviews. One dog-owner allegedly told her dog to “don’t put your dogs in a dangerous situation and use them.”

Another reviewer claimed that Johnny [sic] would “shake when they saw her dogs,” and that he emitted a “bad vibe” from her dogs. She also made note of HoundSpa’s previous location, Northwind Kennels’ parking lot, where its owner was detained multiple times for animal cruelty.

Another disturbing customer claim is made in Peltz’s lawsuit: “Jonny… mishandled the puppy (in front of several witnesses) in such a horrific manner that the pup peed as he grabbed them”! The customer claimed that “the poor pup has been traumatized just seeing the van” and that “all] the puppy’s] desensitization training has been replaced by trauma.”

After receiving numerous customer complaints about his mistreatment and animal abuse, Gittleman “should never have allowed Ceballos to continue grooming pets,” Peltz claimed in the lawsuit.

The Mirror has approached Nicola’s representatives and a spokesperson for HoundSpa LLC and groomer Jony Ceballos for comment on this story.

Egyptian Side Pyramids Seek Support As They Eye First African Club Title

Egyptian fans are encouraged to watch the CAF Champions League final second leg against South African champion Mamelodi Sundowns on Sunday in Cairo, according to Pyramids coach Krunoslav Jurcic.

While Pyramids have a few thousand supporters, Al Ahly and Zamalek, two other Egyptian clubs, can draw a capacity crowd of 73 000 people to the stadium.

As Pyramids prepare to win their first African title, the 55-year-old former Croatia midfielder said, “We are almost alone, we deserve support, we are representing Egypt.”

After losing to Sundowns in a 1-1 first-leg draw last weekend, Pyramids have changed from underdogs to light favorites.

With only 37 seconds left, Sundowns had a late lead over Brazilian Lucas Ribeiro.

A 0-0 draw at the 30 June Stadium in Cairo will give Pyramids the title, but Europe has eliminated the away-goal rule in club competitions. However, Africa continues to use it.

After 90 minutes, Sundowns would be declared champions again, just one more goal away, while a score draw and penalties would be used to end the game.

A remarkable rise for a club that is funded by Saudi and, more recently, Emirati petrodollars would be capitulated by winning the first African club competition at the second attempt.

The club, which was founded in 2008 as Al Assiouty, relocated to Cairo ten years later, changed its name, and attracted some of the top talent from both Egypt and Africa.

While Mohamed Chibi and El Karti, the majority of the team is made up of Egyptians, Fiston Mayele, a star of the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Burkinabe Blati Toure and Mohamed Chibi, both started in Pretoria.

Jurcic, who had a Sundowns side made up of South American stars like Ribeiro and Marcelo Allende, favors an offensive approach.

‘Heroes’

“The players gave a damn about their outstanding performance,” the player said. He claimed that Sundowns are a much more knowledgeable Champions League team.

Sundowns are in the annual competition for the 18th time, and they have only lost once in the process since losing to Zamalek in the 2016 title decider.

Pyramids made its Champions League debut last year, but they lost in their final group game to lose just one of their six matches. They did draw at Sundowns before losing to the Pretoria outfit with a 1-0 victory.

Jurcic, who came to Pyramids after winning the previous Champions League campaign, admits to feeling anxious ahead of the return game because “we have not won anything yet.”

When Pyramids defeated Ceramica Cleopatra 5-1 on Wednesday, Pyramids made up the majority of their first choices, but they had to settle for second place in the Egyptian Premier League behind Al Ahly.

They now want to win both the CAF Champions League and the FA Cup in Egypt. On June 5, they will face Zamalek in the final of the domestic knockout competition.

After his previous club, Esperance of Tunisia, lost to Ahly last year, Portuguese coach Miguel Cardoso wants to avoid losing to the Sundowns in the Champions League final.

Because the trophy’s fate is uncertain, we need to have mental strength. He told reporters, “We must show the greater desire.”

“Heroes emerge in challenging circumstances. The 53-year-old hired by Sundowns in December said it is simple to become a hero in favorable circumstances.

Sundowns has wealthy backers, just like Pyramids. Patrice Motsepe, president of Confederation of African Football, owns the club, and Tlhopie, his oldest son, oversees it.

They just won their eighth straight league title, but they are the ones who want the Champions League. They are the dominant force in South Africa.

Macron threatens sanctions on Israelis over Gaza aid crisis

Unless the Israeli government responds to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, French President Emmanuel Macron has warned that his country may “apply sanctions” against Israelis.

Macron said that the international community could not continue to be passive as Gaza’s Palestinians struggle to solve their hunger crisis during a visit to Singapore on Friday. The comments underscore the growing international pressure on Israel, which has imposed a three-month blockade of the Palestinian enclave with aid agencies’ warnings of famine.

At a joint press conference with Singapore’s Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, Macron said, “The humanitarian blockade is creating a situation that is untenable on the ground.”

We will have to “harden our collective position” if there is no action in the upcoming hours and days in accordance with the humanitarian situation, he continued, suggesting that France might consider imposing sanctions on Israeli settlers.

Israel recently stated that it would allow “minimal” supplies of food and medicine into Gaza, where it continues to launch a fierce military assault, under international pressure.

Looting and violence have been accompanied by the trickle of aid entering the strip, which is now under the control of a new NGO supported by Israel and the United States.

Macron urged people to reject the notion that Israel upholds human rights in his remarks.

However, he continued, “I still hope that Israel’s government will change its mind and that we will finally receive a humanitarian response.”

The French leader added that establishment of a Palestinian state would have to be conditioned on a number of factors, including the fact that it was “not only a moral duty, but also a political necessity.”

His remarks came after Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and Israeli President Subianto publicly denounced any Israeli plans to annex Gaza or expel its population.

Paris is attempting to spread the idea of a conditional recognition of Palestinian statehood, which would, among other things, necessitate Hamas’ demilitarization.

Prior to a UN conference that France and Saudi Arabia are hosting between June 17 and 20, French officials are considering whether to lay out the conditions for a Palestinian state while protecting Israel’s security.

Some diplomats and experts contend that this would irritate Israel and cause deeper divisions in the West.

imminent starvation

The humanitarian crisis persists despite the Israeli blockade, which has allowed some aid to flow into Gaza. One in five people is reportedly facing starvation, according to experts.

On Thursday, the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), a private initiative with the support of the US and Israel, expanded its relief efforts. However, the organization’s efforts have been widely denounced by the UN and other organizations as being insufficient, poorly managed, and not upholding humanitarian standards.

As a result of the overwhelming hunger of the population and the overreach of security forces at distribution points, GHF centers have turned into places of chaos, violence, and desperation.

As they attempted to reach a GHF-established aid distribution point, an Al Jazeera correspondent in Gaza reported on Friday that several people were hurt by Israeli army gunfire in the city’s center.

If permitted access, UNRWA, the UN agency for Palestinian refugees, announced on Friday that it was prepared to deliver supplies from its Amman warehouses, which are only a few hours’ drive from Gaza, including food parcels, hygiene kits, and medical supplies.

The US has proposed a new plan, and negotiations over a ceasefire between Israel and the Palestinian-armed group Hamas are ongoing.

Hamas claims that the proposal is “still being discussed,” but in its current form it would only lead to “the continuation of killing and famine” in Gaza.
