Arab ministers condemn Israel’s ‘ban’ on planned West Bank visit

The foreign ministers of five Arab countries who had planned to visit the occupied West Bank this weekend have condemned Israel’s decision to block their plans.

The ministers condemned “Israel’s decision to ban the delegation’s visit to Ramallah]on Sunday] to meet with the president of the State of Palestine, Mahmud Abbas”, the Jordanian foreign ministry said in a statement on Saturday.

Ministers from Egypt, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates were expected to take part in the meeting alongside Turkiye.

Israel late on Friday said it will not allow the meeting of Arab foreign ministers, who would have required Israeli consent to travel to the occupied West Bank from Jordan because Israel controls the Palestinian territory’s borders and airspace.

“The Palestinian Authority – which to this day refuses to condemn the October 7 massacre – intended to host in Ramallah a provocative meeting of foreign ministers from Arab countries to discuss the promotion of the establishment of a Palestinian state”, the Israeli official said late on Friday.

“Israel will not cooperate with such moves aimed at harming it and its security”.

The Israeli move came ahead of an international conference, co-chaired by France and Saudi Arabia, due to be held in New York on June 17-20 to discuss the issue of Palestinian statehood.

Israel has come under increasing pressure from the United Nations and European countries which favour a two-state solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, under which an independent Palestinian state would exist alongside Israel.

French President Emmanuel Macron said on Friday that recognising a Palestinian state was not only a “moral duty but a political necessity”.

Last week, Israeli forces opened fire near a diplomatic convoy near Jenin refugee camp in the occupied West Bank, triggering an international outcry. The convoy included diplomats from the European Union, the United Kingdom, Russia and China.

The Israeli military claimed its soldiers fired “warning shots” after the group deviated from an agreed-upon route.

Israel has also allowed the expansion of illegal settlements in the occupied Palestinian territory, with the government announcing plans to establish 22 new settlements, including retroactively legalising a number of unauthorised outposts.

The move has been condemned by Palestinian officials and global human rights groups.

The International Court of Justice declared last July that Israel’s longstanding occupation of Palestinian territories is illegal, and called for the evacuation of all settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.

Since the start of the Israeli war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, at least 972 Palestinians have been killed and more than 7, 000 injured in attacks by the Israeli army and settlers across the occupied West Bank, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health. An estimated 1, 139 people were killed in Israel during the Hamas-led attacks on October 7 and more than 200 were taken captive.

Women’s Nations League: Scotland vs. Netherlands

Date: Tuesday, June 3rd, 2019 12:00 BST

After breaking her jaw against Austria, midfielder Amy Rodgers was forced to miss Scotland’ final Nations League A Group 1 game against the Netherlands.

Before Scotland’s only goal of the game at Hampden on Friday night, the 26-year-old Bristol City player took an elbow from Austria’s Sarah Puntigam to the face.

Charlotte Newsham, a member of Charlton Atheltic’s under-23 squad, was promoted from the under-23 squad for Rodgers’ trip to Tilburg on Tuesday.

Docherty collided with Amy Muir, a member of the international team, and the national team for the first time since their December Euro 2025 play-off defeat.

With a game to go, the Scots’ relegation to League B was confirmed by Friday’s result, which not only ended new head coach Melissa Andreatta’s tenure with a defeat.

Amorim’s blunt approach will benefit Man Utd – De Ligt

Images courtesy of Getty

Matthijs de Ligt, a defender for Manchester United, believes Ruben Amorim’s direct approach will pay off long-term.

Amorim has won some of the most bleak games for United in his short time as manager, despite finding it difficult to win since he left Sporting in November.

He claimed that his team was “probably the worst in Manchester United history” following their 3-1 home defeat at Brighton in January.

He declared in the wake of Tottenham’s Europa League defeat that he would leave without discussing compensation if the club’s management or supporters decided otherwise.

Amorim’s players were called “chokers” after their shocking defeat by a South-East Asia select XI on a recent post-season tour of Asia, according to Amorim.

De Ligt, who led Ajax to the Champions League semi-finals in 2019, believes Amorim’s words are encouraging because of his nationality and the Dutch country’s reputation for blunt speaking.

“I understand that the media is shocked because this rarely occurs,” she said.

However, I believe you can also be relieved to finally hear someone speak out, express his opinions, and declare their views.

He speaks to me personally in particular, and I really appreciate that. I feel confident in him and confident in him, too.

United are suffering from their worst domestically since 1973-74.

Due to the Tottenham reverse, United missed out on European football and the financial benefits that come with it for the first time since English clubs returned to Uefa competition in 1990. As a result, United missed out on European football and the finances that come with it.

Amorim will be under a lot of pressure as the club prepares to launch its new campaign after only seven Premier League victories since leaving in November.

De Ligt believes that Amorim’s work with the first-team group will pay off.

He said, “I’ve worked with a lot of managers, and he’s one of the easiest to talk to as a player.”

He is very interested in details. Before signing new players, he first examines the culture, what needs to change, and what can be improved to improve. More of that will be available from the following season.

He claims that he wants to create a group of players who are fighting for one another and making the most of what they have.

Jamie Overton, a fast bowler, has a broken finger that prevents him from playing in England’s final two one-day internationals against West Indies.

During England’s 2-1 victory in the series opener at Edgbaston on Thursday, Overton broke his little finger while attempting to take a return catch.

The 31-year-old immediately departed the field for treatment, but he returned to take three wickets and then started bowling.

No replacements have been named for the squad, with Overton making his only change from the team that beat West Indies on Thursday, earning his 10th ODI cap and first since September.

The ODI squad also includes Luke Wood and Mark Potts.

After Mark Wood, Jofra Archer, and Gus Atkinson, Overton is the latest fast bowler to miss out injured.

Oasis’ longed-for reunion is ‘thanks to star’ as Noel and Liam Gallagher prepare for tour

Noel and Liam Gallagher’s tour will begin in July, and Olympia fans can’t wait to see them back in action after their bitter feud left them separated for 16 years.

Liam and Noel Gallagher sent fans into a frenzy when they announced they were reuniting last year and now it’s been revealed who was behind the plan to get the band back together. The long-feuding brothers barely spoke for 16 years amid a bitter war of words between the Don’t Look Back In Anger stars.

Oasis fans had just about given up hope that they would ever see the stars together on stage again. However, after years of radio silence, the band announced that they were embarking on a world tour and it’s all, reportedly, thanks to Noel’s daughter, Anais. Anais, 25, whose mum is former It girl, Meg Matthews, is good pals with Liam’s sons, Lennon and Gene and is said to have spoken to her cousins about getting their dad back in the rehearsal room with Noel.

Following Noel’s split from ex-wife, Sara McDonald in 2023, a source told The Sun: “Anais was one of the biggest sources of comfort and support for Noel following his divorce. She was the one that was helping him get back on his feet and return to doing things he loved that had fallen by the wayside.”

They continued, “Noel had offered an olive branch to Liam over the years, but he’d never taken it up,” claiming that Noel had tried to reconcile with him repeatedly over the years but had failed.

After the split, Anais could attest that her father really wanted both Liam and Paul by his side, and she was determined to reconnect with them. She inquired if her father would be willing to hear her out because she enjoys working with Liam’s sons Gene and Lennon.

She then requested Liam to contact his brother to offer him some support after they said they thought he would be receptive. Since Liam has always wanted Oasis to be together, he has contacted him.

Anais recently defended younger Oasis fans, who are said to have been a part of the set list’s selection, who were said to have been unable to appreciate the Britpop sensation’s music because they were not of the same generation.

The photographer told Hello! that she was ‘insisting her dad’s collection of hits was timeless. magazine: “I see this all the time, actually, where someone will post a funny video or cover song and say, “Oasis would despise this.” You detest this, no, no.

Some people interpret my dad and uncle as my father and uncle, but they sometimes adopt this hyper-aggressive masculine ideology. They actually accept things a lot more than fans do.

She continued, “People really love to hate anything that young women like, and it’s really fascinating that young women want to see Taylor Swift and are criticised because it’s obviously not cool or embarrassing,” and that young women also want to see Oasis and are not permitted.

Where can young women take up space, then? As a huge music fan myself, I was told by some that “you weren’t around” because many of the bands I liked had already left or were already dead by the time I came to see them.

For the first time since the band split on July 4 at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, Noel and Liam will join forces. As part of the epic tour, there will also be dates in Manchester, London, Dublin, Brazil, and the US.

Britain’s Got Talent’s KSI called a ‘terrible person’ as he makes awkward date confession

The 2025 season finale of Britain’s Got Talent is coming to an end tonight with the elimination match between KSI and Bruno Tonioli, who KSI replaced at auditions.

Britain’s Got Talent’s KSI has been called a “terrible person” after his date confession. The YouTube star filled in a guest judge on the show during this year’s series.

He has since been accused of failing to handle a dating situation in the best way, though. The actress opened up after having dinner with a girl, but he unintentionally forgot his wallet, which was disappointing.

Speaking on Hits Radio, KSI explained the situation to hosts Will Best and Fleur East. He started out by saying he didn’t realise until half way through the date that he has gone without his wallet.

He claimed that he was on a date when I was single and unwittingly lost my wallet. We were having this date, so I didn’t realize until about halfway through the engagement because we weren’t dating at the time, which was awkward.

“I’d pay, of course. I looked over my wallet, and there was nothing there. I thought, “OK, how am I going to do this?” I eventually responded, “I don’t have my wallet,” and I told her. She probably is thinking, “Oh this guy is trying to scam me,” so I promised to see her again.

You knew you weren’t going to see her again, Fleur replied, “As KSI confirmed,” and I never did. The trio then came to the conclusion that KSI’s actions were “terrible.”

KSI will once more be on the final weekend of Britain’s Got Talent. He will perform on stage for himself.

He tweeted: “HE’S BACK!” after announcing the news on X, the official Britain’s Got Talent account. Catch @KSI while attending the #BGT Final, which will be broadcast on @ITV1, @ITVX, and @WeAreSTV starting at 7pm on May 31.

The YouTube star first began his music career back in 2015 with the release of his debut single, Lamborghini, featuring P Money. However, it wasn’t his first experience in the industry, having previously written and produced comedy rap songs for his YouTube channel.

The boxer replaced Bruno Tonioli, a fellow judge, who had to miss a few auditions due to scheduling conflicts, when he appeared as a guest judge on the Britain’s Got Talent panel in February of this year. Last week, KSI made another appearance with the honor of playing the Golden Buzzer.

He chose to use his power to send one act through to the live finals. He was particularly impressed by magician Harry Moulding as he left the judges in utter shock as he performed an incredible magic trick which ended in a romantic proposal in front of the live audience.
