Kevin, 42, is now in a relationship with BBC star, Stacey Dooley, 38, who he met on Strictly and with whom he shares daughter, Minnie, two. However, opening up about her former relationship with the dancer from Lincolnshire, Karen, 43, insists she “belonged” with Kevin. Lifting the lid on their break-up on Married At First Sight star, Paul C. Brunson’s We Need to Talk podcast, she shared: “This one hurt because we belonged together. Do you know what I mean? It was like you wouldn’t say each other’s names without following the other person’s name.

We were like, “What?'” during one of these. What? ‘ We created something jointly. He seemed to distance himself from me, but I probably did because I believed that if he didn’t want me, I’d retreat.

I’ll reserve your spot for you. We aren’t talking about it anymore, just one of those. So I’m like, “Do you want a divorce?” Would you like to split up? What do I want to do, I don’t know?

What do you want to do, she continued, revealing that the breakup took place behind the scenes of Strictly for more than a year. What do you want, exactly? What do I want, I have no idea. Yes . So, are we each other apart or apart?

“So, it took a while, actually. Behind the scenes, it took about a year, and everything was normal.

Karen, who has been married three times, claimed that if she had believed Kevin had wanted the same outcome, she would have stuck by it and that she would have kept the relationship. I anticipated working on it in advance.

“I would have stayed, but I couldn’t be with someone who wasn’t sure whether or not they wanted to be with me.” I was unable to wait.

After the breakup, Karen, who had already broken up with her third husband in 2023, was accused of cheating after being caught with someone else and not realizing their relationship.

Karen continued, “It wasn’t someone I dated or something, it just happened to be someone I just saw a few times and I got snapped up,” insisting that she wasn’t unfaithful to Kevin.

And then suddenly, you know, I’m portrayed as someone who has cheated on him, and then obviously he [Kevin] saw the pictures and said, “What’s up? I was just walking with this person”? I wasn’t waiting to be loved, so there was a big misunderstanding in everything because of that.

Karen and Kevin continued to work politely on Strictly despite their split, saying, “We respect one another, you know. We have never criticized one another. I believe that is because, you see, we hold each other in such high regard. Love will always exist there.

Wales give Kpakio, 18, first call-up for World Cup qualifiers

FAW

Ronan Kpakio, a teenager from Cardiff City, will be in his squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Liechtenstein and Belgium in February, according to Wales head coach Craig Bellamy.

Kpakio, who turned 18 this week, is the first time he has participated in a training camp for Wales in Spain earlier this month.

Kpakio, a product of the Cardiff Academy, has only made six senior Bluebird appearances. Before making his first league start on the last day of the Championship season, he made his EFL Cup debut in August of last year.

Ethan Ampadu and Harry Wilson return to Bellamy’s squad for games against Liechtenstein on Friday, June 6 at the Cardiff City Stadium, and Belgium in Brussels on Monday.

Ampadu, the captain of Leeds United, and Wilson, the 28-year-old attacking midfielder, were both hurt during the league’s first two games in March.

After winning 3-1 against Kazakhstan and drawing 1-1 against North Macedonia, Wales are now second in Group J.

Following a successful club-level season, several players will return to play abroad.

In the Europa League final, Connor Roberts, Karl Darlow, Joe Rodon, Ampadu, Daniel James, and Chris Mepham all won promotion to the Premier League with their respective clubs, while Ben Davies and Brennan Johnson each scored the only goal for Tottenham, who also had Ben Davies in their squad.

On goal difference, North Macedonia is currently in the top 20 while Belgium is just beginning their campaign.

The group winners advance to the World Cup, while the 12 group runners-up and four nations from the previous year’s Nations League will battle it out in play-offs.

Defenders: Joe Rodon, Chris Mepham, Ben Davies, Ronan Kpakio, Connor Roberts, Jay Dasilva, and Neco Williams.

Israel launches attack on Yemen’s Sanaa airport

Developing a Story

A day after Houthi rebels in Yemen fired two projectiles at Israel, Israel claims to have launched airstrikes on Yemen’s main airport in Sanaa.

Four strikes hit the runway and a Yemenia Airways plane, according to a report from Al Masirah TV, a news outlet affiliated with the Houthi.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz claimed on Wednesday that the Israeli air force struck Houthi “terror targets” at the airport and “destroyed the last aircraft remaining.”

Whoever fires at the State of Israel will pay a high price, Katz said, “This is a clear message and a continuation of our policy.”

The Houthi armed group fired two projectiles at Israel that were shot down by Tel Aviv’s air defenses the day after the latest Israeli attack on Yemen. Later, the Houthis claimed to have launched two “ballistic missiles.”

Following previous Israeli strikes, temporary repairs and runway restoration brought Sanaa, Yemen’s largest airport, back into operation last week.

After three other civilian aircraft were destroyed in the most recent attack, it was mostly used by Yemenia Airways’s United Nations aircraft, which is the only one still operating.

The Houthis have repeatedly targeted Israel in what they claim to be solidarity with the Palestinians in the enclave since Israel started its war on Gaza in October 2023.

Strictly Come Dancing finalist Tasha Ghouri has opened up on the “difficulties” she has faced due to “discrimination” over her disability. Tasha, who was born deaf, admitted the “world is sad and scary”.

Tasha danced her way to the Strictly final with her professional partner Aljakorjanec, who received millions of viewers last year. They then lost out to eventual winners Dianne Buswell and Chris McCausland for the coveted Glitterball trophy.

Tasha shot to fame when the 26-year-old was selected to appear in the 2022 series of Love Island where she finished in fourth place as she walked away coupled up with her now ex-boyfriend, Andrew Le Page.

She was present at Hoar Cross Hall, Staffordshire, for this years annual event, which is a collaboration between Disney and the Make-A-Wish charity. Hundreds of children with serious illnesses have the chance to meet their favorite Disney characters.

During a recent chat with the Mirror, she opened up about the discrimination she has faced in the past regarding her deafness, but admitted that it doesn’t “compare” to the difficulties to that which the children at the Disney Wish event go through.

She continued, “Yes, I do still encounter challenges with that today, but I know it is not in line with what these kids go through every day.

Everybody has their own difficulties, with various disabilities and illnesses, but these children, you know, live in hospitals every day, and they must be able to get there on time for Make A Wish to actually provide a day where everything is accessible. They can go there and take care of them.

Tasha continued, “The world can be so sad and scary,” and how an event of this kind can be especially significant. She continued, “I believe it is crucial that we have that in the world where we live,” because it can sometimes be so depressing and frightening. They’re fortunate to have their lives cast in that positive light.

Tasha said that it was “such a beautiful, magical day” that I look back on and feel grateful to be a part of when she spent time with the children at Hoar Cross Hall in Staffordshire.

Haliburton, Pacers defeat Knicks in Game 4 of NBA East finals

The Indiana Pacers were one victory away from the NBA Finals for the first time since 2000 thanks to Tyrese Haliburton’s unique performance.

In Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals in Indianapolis, Haliburton led the Pacers to a 130-121 victory over the New York Knicks on Tuesday night, recording 32 points, 15 assists, and 12 rebounds without a turnover. In a postseason game, he is the first player in NBA history to record a stat line of 30-15-10-0.

In addition to recording his second postseason triple-double, Haliburton also recorded five 3-pointers and four steals for the Pacers, who led the best-of-seven series, 3-1.

After the Pacers’ Game 3 defeat on Sunday, Haliburton felt obligated to his teammates for the extraordinary effort.

Haliburton claimed that “I was just trying to be aggressive and respond.” In Game 3, I felt like I let the team down, so I had to step up and play. I was given the opportunity to play and play my game by the guys. It was a significant success for us.

The turnover column’s zero was the number that Pacers coach Rick Carlisle liked the most.

Carlisle remarked, “He was really throwing the ball ahead tonight, which was really important to us.” It’s remarkable to not experience turnovers in any of those circumstances. However, he has grown fond of this. He seems to take great pride in it, which is a strong motivating quality.

He does some impressive statistical work, but he is well aware that all of this transcends statistics.

On Thursday in New York, the Pacers will attempt to wrap up the series.

Fourth-seeded Indiana scored 30 points with Aaron Nesmith adding 20 after 12 plus minutes of bench work for them. Siakam’s second series 30-pointer came after him.

For the third-seeded Knicks, Jalen Brunson had 31 points, Karl-Anthony Towns had 24 points and 12 rebounds, and OG Anunoby had 22. For New York, Mikal Bridges added 12 points and 11 rebounds while Mikal Bridges added 12 points.

Tom Thibodeau, the coach of the Kansas City, said, “We scored 120 points, but our defense wasn’t good enough.” Our rebounding was adequate. However, we were penalized for our defense and turnovers.

In Game 4, [Michael Conroy/AP], New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson, right, scored 31 points.

In Game 4, Haliburton is the difference-maker.

Thibodeau attributed the breakdown to his team’s historic performance.

“Thibodeau said, “Haliburton’s a great player.” Great players in this league are not protected by one person. Your entire team is involved. And everyone will turn out differently if one guy doesn’t do their jobs.

Towns was hobbling at the finish after suffering a left knee injury for the second game in a row. Towns would be subject to an investigation, according to Thibodeau.

I’m only considering the loss, I say. Towns said of the knee at this moment, but I’m not thinking about it. When you don’t win, it’s disappointing. We didn’t accomplish the task enough.

Nesmith was declared good to go by Carlisle more than an hour before tip-off. Midway through Game 3 on Sunday, the 25-year-old forward sprained his right ankle.

Indiana, which shot 51.1 percent from the field and 13 of 32 (40.6%) from 3-point range, added 13 points before fouling out for Myles Turner. With a 22-9 edge in fastbreak points, the Pacers’ 65-23 advantage in that category increased to 65-23 overall.

The Knicks shot 46.3 percent of their shots from behind the arc, and they made 12 of 28 (42.9%). New York’s rebounding advantage was 44-33.

To wrap up a 13-0 run and take a 76-64 lead, the Pacers scored the first seven points of the second half.

With 3:59 remaining in the third quarter, Brunson made two free throws that reduced the Knicks’ deficit to 89-84. With 55.6 seconds left in the period, the Pacers took a 102-91 lead into the final stanza thanks to a 3-pointer by Haliburton.

Indiana held its largest lead at 111-96 with a five straight points from Siakam in the opening quarter. However, after Towns put it away with 4:24 left, New York scored seven straight to draw within 115-109.

After Obi Toppin hit a 3-pointer with 45 seconds left, Indiana maintained its pace and extended its lead to 126-116.

Siakam, who was a star on the 2019 Toronto Raptors’ title-winning team, said, “We haven’t done anything yet.” Can’t get too excited about the highs, and can’t get too excited about the lows. My entire season-long speech would be that.

The Pacers led 69-64 at the break thanks to Haliburton’s 20 points, 10 assists, and eight rebounds. The final six points of the half came from India. Before the break, Brunson had 16 points for New York.
