Zayn Malik left One Direction in March 2015 after a five-year stint, during which the band — a product of The X Factor — topped the UK singles charts with four songs
Zayn Malik has again been named a director in One Direction’s company PPM Music Limited — reuniting him with the group after more than 10 years.
The singer quit One Direction in March 2015 around five years after they were formed through The X Factor. During that time, the group topped the UK singles charts with four songs and won four Brit awards, including British Single of the Year for What Makes You Beautiful in 2012.
He then had his role as director of PPM Music Limited terminated in June 2016. However, new documents listed with Companies House reveal Zayn, 32, is active once more — as of November 3.
The musician, originally from Bradford, West Yorkshire, is listed as an “Active Director” alongside bandmates Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan. All of them have the same address in central London listed as their addresses.

Reacting the development, a music source told The Sun: “This is a huge moment. While heartbreaking, Liam’s passing has brought them together, it’s even more sad he was the biggest cheerleader of a reunion.”
It is believed the address in question is Lee and Thompson LLP — a leading law firm who specialise in music and media law. The company previously looked after Liam Payne’s solo career, it is reported.
Zayn is to perform seven gigs in Las Vegas in January — his first time entertaining crowds there. He and Louis, 33, have been filming a TV show together across America in recent weeks.

Noting this, the source continued: “Since Liam’s passing the boys have been in contact… PPM was the original company they set up when they were on the show (The X Factor). The name stands for Princess Park Manor, the private gated complex they were moved into when they were on the show.”
The lads came third on The X Factor in 2010 — when the youngest member, Harry, was just 16. The rest were 17, and at such tender ages began their remarkable music careers. One Direction went on to sell more than 70 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling boy bands of all time. They went on an indefinite hiatus in January 2016, around 10 months after Zayn left.
