Ozzy Osbourne’s passing came just weeks after the 27-year-old performed at his farewell show on his own, and Jungblud paid him a price.
Ozzy Osbourne’s death has rocked the entire world and one person who had grown close to the legendary rocker was Yungblud. The 27-year-old musician, whose real name is Dominic Harrison, was even a surprise guest at Ozzy’s recent Back to the Beginning farewell show.
And following the tragic news of the Prince of Darkness’ death, he took to social media to share a heartbreaking message. He uploaded two black and white images of the pair together before the Villa Park gig as he gave Ozzy a special necklace.
When I first met you, Yungblud said, “I didn’t think you would leave because your laughter was so infectious.”

As many of the world’s greatest rock bands headed to Villa Park, Birmingham in an effort to make Ozzy’s last performance with Black Sabbath the most memorable ever, on July 5, one of those was Yungblud. He performed an amazing rendition of Changes on stage before Ozzy made his appearance.
And he met Ozzy while they were both onstage and took a moment to talk about it backstage. In between sound checks, he gave the rock legend a very special gift.
As he gave Ozzy a large wooden box, he said, “I made you something. You obviously gave me your cross, and I wanted to give it back, so I made you something.
Ozzy looked up the box and said, “Oh my god, that is unbelievable. In order to give Ozzy another necklace, Jungblud held up his own necklace and revealed that he had never taken it off since receiving it.
The family of Ozzy announced the star had died aged 76, today, less than three weeks after his farewell concert with Black Sabbath. His wife Sharon Osbourne and four of his children issued a joint statement shared the sad news.
Ozzy’s family said that he was “surrounded by love” when he died this morning. The statement was signed by Sharon, 72, whom he married in 1982, and their three children Aimee Osbourne, Jack Osbourne and Kelly Osbourne.
