A former X Factor contestant is making her Glastonbury debut while splitting with her eight-year husband. According to reports, Lucie Jones and Ethan Boroian are no longer together.

The couple had met each other during their X Factor auditions in 2009, but they have now called it quits. It’s said the duo are quietly going through a divorce and Lucie no longer followers her husband on social media.

According to some, the two relationships have simply gotten too far apart. According to a source, the couple realized they were “young when they married,” and now Lucie’s focus has changed.

Speaking to the Sun, an insider said: “She has been busy focusing on pursuing her career on the West End stage and travelling the globe, they’re moving on with their lives. Lucie’s in a really good place and has already moved on and met someone else and has loved performing at Glastonbury.”

They continued, “Ethan is no longer in the show business, and their lives are going in a different direction.”

For the first time since joining the Worthy Farm festival, Lucie made her Glastonbury appearance. As she prepared for a three-day break, she promised “cool surprises” during the “huge celebration of music and theater.”

She admitted she was delighted when she got the call to be involved. Speaking to the Mirror before the sets, she explained what people could expert from her.

She continued, “When I went there last year, I was like, why is there no musical theater here?” These people would enjoy some defying gravity, I was just walking around.

Many people, in my opinion, associate musical theater with tap dancing and jazz hands. But I don’t do that because of my style. You’ll be a fan of every song, and it’s going to be very upbeat. Of course, there is a little bit of that in musical theater, but there are many other things as well.

And she continued to make fun of her sets. A few of the people I have are playing at Glastonbury, and she said, “I’m going to be joining them” or “I’ll be joining them during their set.”

One or two of them has me very excited about it. They won’t necessarily be musical theater acts, but they’re going to be super cool.

Lucie previously represented the UK in Eurovision. Following her stint on the contest eight years ago she then credited the X Factor for “changing her life”. The series produced a number of stars including winner Joe McElderry, who Lucie still keeps in touch with now. “I’m going to Ibiza tomorrow and I’m going to see Joe McElderry,” she said.
