Strictly Come Dancing star Wynne Evans and his girlfriend jetted off to Dubai for a sunny break after the Go Compare star received fresh backlash for antics while taking part in Strictly. The 53-year-old was removed from the Strictly tour after it was revealed he made an inappropriate joke about “spit-roasting” Janette Manrara at the launch show in Birmingham.
During his time on the show, he was also accused of being inappropriate with his dance partner, Katya Jones, who leapt to Wynne’s defence and insisted that nothing inappropriate happened. And in recent days Wynne became embroiled in another scandal with Jamie Borthwick involving a sex toy which was gifted to the actor as a joke.

After being reportedly given a warning by BBC bosses, a video of the pair’s sexually explicit stunt has recently been discovered. The offensive footage is said to have been shared among the series’ famous contestants on Strictly WhatsApp.
According to a source, “Bird executives immediately acknowledged the shocking and immature footage being shared and instructed the pair to act professionally.”
The video is thought to have been shot just two days after Wynne was allegedly making a crude sexual remark about Janette Manrara, a professional dancer.
The Welsh opera singer and his partner, Liz Brookes, are set to depart for Dubai on Friday morning after the sex joke backlash, with their romantic trip to Dubai.
He chose a navy t-shirt, a grey hoodie, and blue jeans for a comfortable look. Liz was also spring-ready with a denim jacket, a black t-shirt, and a patterned skirt. As they made their way through the terminal, the two had a lively exchange.
Before dropping their luggage off at the First Class section of the check-in desk, the pair carried matching blue suitcases along the terminal. Following the new allegations made about Wynne’s behavior while on Strictly, Wynne kept a low profile and appeared unimpressed.
Wynne has been busy lately, and this holiday couldn’t possibly be soon enough, according to an insider. Although he keeps a tight-lipped about the BBC situation, it’s obvious that there is a lot going on in the background.
It comes as reports claim he is reportedly planning to take action and seek “recompense” due to the dire consequences of his ongoing scandal.
His situation reportedly got even worse last months amid reports he’s lost his lucrative advert deal with GoCompare that he has held since 2009.
The star has a few people supporting him, with his Strictly professional partner Katya Jones describing him as “incredible” in a new interview.
She told The Sun’s Fabulous magazine, “Wynne was incredible, but I can only speak from my own experience. We had a fantastic partnership after a lot of time spent together. We “got along like a house on fire.”
She continued, “Wynne has never in any way caused me to feel uneasy.” No one can take away from us because we’ve spent the most incredible time together.
