Lottie Woad made an impressive professional debut by shooting a second-round 65 to extend her two-shot lead at the Women’s Scottish Open.

Nelly Korda, who is tied for second with Denmark’s Nanna Koerstz Madsen, is back, playing alongside the 21-year-old.

It took Englishwoman Woad five holes to complete her first birdie at Dundonald Links, adding two more before completing a four-hole run from the third hole.

With just one bogey in 36 holes, she was 12 under par.

Gemma Dryburgh of Scotland, who had a disappointing 78 on the opening day, shot a superb 67 to make it to the tournament while Georgia Hall of England is only four players shy.

After missing out on $ 400, 000 in prize money at the Evian Championship, the fourth women’s major of the year, Woad, who won the Irish Open earlier this month, made the decision to become a professional last week.
