The Denver Broncos staged the biggest of all comebacks while the Indianapolis Colts established themselves as real contenders for another pulsating NFL Sunday.

The New England Patriots’ revival and the Kansas City Chiefs’ resumption of business are both the Colts’ top league team, but there are also rivals from all sides.

Why are the Colts a genuine contenders?

No denying that the Colts are the real deal right now, with Daniel Jones overcoming doubts about his explosive start to the season being a flash in the pan. They currently lead the NFL at 6-1 after defeating the Chargers 38-24 in Los Angeles.

Running back Jonathan Taylor has scored his third touchdown of the year, bringing his total to 11 in seven games.

With more than 33 points per game, Indianapolis has the star power to be among the league’s top scorers, and their main strength is how patient they are when they are in possession.

With their nine possessions, they recorded the league’s best points per drive, and against the Chargers, they scored five touchdowns and a field goal.

They are third-best at forcing turnovers (11) and are almost always successful when they don’t have the ball.

epic Denver comeback led by Nix

No doubting the week’s action as Bo Nix leads the Denver Broncos to a mind-blowing 33-32 victory over the unlucky New York Giants.

With Denver’s 33-point blitz the second-best in history, Nix became the first quarterback to have two passing and two rushing touchdowns in a fourth quarter despite being shutout 19-0 after three quarters.

With just 37 seconds left, impressive Giants rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart scored his fourth total touchdown of the game, seemingly winning it.

It was flown by Eagles and Chiefs.

With a 28-22 victory over the Vikings, the Eagles’ 28-22 victory saw the reigning Super Bowl champions come out on top. Hurts finally opened up his shoulders to throw for 326 yards, three touchdowns, and a perfect passer rating of 158.3.

Although Hurts hasn’t been on the same page as his receivers lately, DeVonta Smith has a career-best 183 yards and a score while AJ Brown has two touchdowns in a freewheeling display that Eagles fans have been clamoring for.

Although Philadelphia typically uses a more traditional approach, Hurts’ throwing total of 215 yards on 20-yard throws in his career could indicate that they are using the handbrake.

In his 93rd regular-season victory, returning receiver Rashee Rice ignited a 31-0 shutout of the somewhat unfavorable Las Vegas Raiders with the same amount of energy.

After a shaky start, the 4-3 Chiefs have won four straight wins in five, averaging 31.5 points per game over the previous four, with only the Colts having more clinical possession.

Who are the pretenders and contenders for the NFL?

If Drake Maye continues to lead the Patriots with such poise and accuracy, he could be in for MVP contention.

In his second season, Tom Brady was the team’s quarterback, but he set a new record for the team with a 91.3% completion rate in their victory over the Titans. That’s quite a feat when you consider that team has had Tom Brady for 20 years.

Even though this most recent game was against the Titans, the Pats are 5-2 and have already won all four of their away games.

Green Bay outgained Arizona by 27-23, which was far from convincing. Cards quarterback Jacoby Brissett still had some fun playing quarterback against the Packers defense, who had three sacks.

Their main goal is keeping their star running back in shape moving forward, which is why they always looked a little toothless on offense whenever Josh Jacobs wasn’t on the field.

Dak Prescott scored three touchdowns for the Dallas Cowboys in their fourth straight game against a struggling Washington, who had lost Jayden Daniels to a hamstring injury.

The Commanders, who combined for 308 yards and two scores to go, were deeply concerned about that.

Only the Patriots can match Chicago’s four-win streak following its victory over the Saints’ struggling offense from Caleb Williams.

The defense, which had three interceptions and a fumble from Spencer Rattler, leads the league in terms of yards and touchdowns, and the Bears combined for 222 yards and two scores in the NFL.

But Williams will need more.

The San Francisco 49ers have some injuries, but they still have a chance if they can get Christian McCaffrey.

After overcoming the Atlanta Falcons 20-10, McCaffrey added 201 total yards and two touchdowns to put the Niners at 5-2.

With 31 points, the Browns defeated the Dolphins, who had previously managed just 17 in a game, to prove Miami’s lack of success.
