When Tenas appeared to bring Vinicius down in the box moments later, he was given another penalty, but his appeals were rejected.
Tenas denied him on both occasions, with the midfielder kicking a post out of frustration. Bellingham twice came close.
The goal was quickly restored by Villarreal after Georges Mikautadze scored lethally from the edge of the box.
Santiago Mourino, a defensive player for Yellow Submarine, was shown a second yellow card after pressing on Vinicius down the wing, and Mbappe soon added a third.
The Frenchman became the division’s top scorer when Brahim Diaz scored his ninth league goal of the campaign.
In the final stages, Mbappé was knocked off, leaving the only unfavorable result for a Madrid side that was good value for their three points.
Comesana of Villarreal criticized some of the refereeing decisions that were against his side.
Comesana told DAZN, “It’s unfortunate that the first goal hit me and then the penalty, which wasn’t enough (of a foul) to give it.”
If it’s already difficult to win at the Bernabeu, with these things it’s even harder to do so, you only need to look at how he threw himself down and how the red card (was soft).
