The West Africa Economic Summit (WAES) is taking place at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja, where President Bola Tinubu and other West African presidents are currently exhibiting.
The first of its kind initiative, which President Tinubu co-chairs, aims to advance regional economic integration. It places a strong emphasis on enhancing regional cooperation in trade and investment.

The Economic Summit, which is expected to produce tangible outcomes and deliverables, which will help advance West Africa’s integration agenda as a key foundation for sustainable peace, security, and prosperity in the region. Presidents of Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Senegal, The Gambia, Benin, Togo, and Guinea-Bissau also took part.
