Victoria Beckham, her husband David, and two of their children attended a family meal to mark the occasion on Thursday, but two of her children were unaccompanied.
Fresh some celebrating her birthday in style, Victoria Beckham has brushed off eldest son Brooklyn Beckham’s ‘snub’ and shared some behind-the-scenes snaps from her parties. The singer-turned-designer turned 51 on Thursday and posted a slew of pictures on social media of her loved ones joining her for a family meal.
However, two of her four children were noticeably missing from the celebrations. Despite receiving an outpouring of birthday wishes on social media, including from her husband David Beckham, 50, it was noted that her eldest son Brooklyn Beckham, 26, and his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham, 30, remained silent online.
Victoria posted photos of herself and David posing for the camera and taking to Instagram on Friday night to share a sneak peek of her lavish celebrations. The mother-of-four then posted a photo of herself, dressed in all white, escalating from the yacht they were celebrating on.
“It wasn’t all glamour last night,” Victoria jokingly captioned the shot – tagging husband David in the image. Earlier, the former Spice Girl hinted that Brooklyn and his younger brother Cruz Beckham, 20, were not present at her birthday bash, as they were absent from the photos she shared. The reason for their absence remains unclear.
She did reveal, however, that she was joined by David and their other children Romeo Beckham, 22, and Harper Beckham, 13, along with some friends. While Cruz was also missing from the party, Brooklyn was singled out as the only one who didn’t post a birthday tribute to his mum on social media.
Fans first noticed the apparent snub on his last Instagram post, which celebrated his third wedding anniversary with wife Nicola Peltz on April 9. Instead of acknowledging Victoria’s 51st birthday on Thursday, Nicola then posted a promotional photo of Brooklyn undergoing cupping therapy.
Yesterday, just sixty minutes after Victoria Beckham shared some heartfelt birthday photographs, her eldest, Brooklyn Beckham, hit Instagram with a bunch of snaps from Coachella in California. He was living it up at the festival last weekend with his wife Nicola and captioned their memories with: “Made amazing memories this year x [heart emoji].”
At David Beckham’s early birthday party in Miami on March 30th, Brooklyn and his partner Nicola, age 30, were also nowhere to be seen by eagle-eyed fans. Additionally, when the pair missed out on fashion icon Victoria’s most recent Paris Fashion Week Show, whispers started to spread.
David Beckham made a sweet nod to his wife’s birthday by posting a number of vintage photos to Instagram to mark Victoria’s special day. The football legend took his fans memory lane with images including a beaming couple that were captured on a yacht back in 1999, beginning with a tender image of them locking their lips in a pool.
He continued with a heartfelt image of Victoria surrounded by Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper Seven, which he added. And David added some vintage photos of the one and only Posh Spice to finish off his online tribute for a dose of cuteness overload.
Posting on her main Instagram grid on Friday, Victoria posed with a huge piece of cake as she shared some of her favourite snaps from her yacht celebration. “Thank you for making my birthday so special My family and my friends, I love you all so much xxxxx @davidbeckham,” the former singer captioned the collection of shots.
