Celebrities, friends and family were out in full force for the Victoria Beckham Netflix premiere tonight, ahead of its release on Netflix tomorrow

Dame Victoria Beckham was joined by her family and friends for the world premiere of her new Netflix series tonight. The 51-year-old former Spice Girl and fashion designer was the guest of honour for the event at the Curzon Mayfair cinema.

She was accompanied by husband David, 50, and once inside was expected to introduce the first episode for invited guests. The three-part documentary series, centres around Victoria preparing for the fashion show of her life in Paris last year. It also features stories and footage beginning from the teenager who restyled her school uniform, to the Spice Girl who fought to be accepted by a notoriously demanding fashion industry.

The three-part series is released tomorrow and features interviews with fashion bosses and, of course, David and Victoria.

Netflix already enjoyed success with a series about the career of Victoria’s husband David.

Now the singer-turned-designer, 51, has a new found confidence since entering her 50s and is ready to unleash a new aspect of her personality previously unseen by many.

“Getting older is – actually, there’s a side of it that’s really great,” Victoria admits ahead of her new series premiering. “The filter comes off, and you give a s**t less. I’m really enjoying that.”

The upcoming series, simply titled Victoria Beckham, will see the mum-of-four look back on her time with the Spice Girls as Posh Spice, her marriage to football legend David and the battle to shake off the pop star tag in order to become a respected fashion designer.

The three-part programme, which is crafted by the same team behind the Emmy award-winning BECKHAM series, features exclusive chats and shocking revelations and the docuseries will give viewers an unprecedented peek behind the curtain of Victoria Beckham’s world.

In a previous trailer, Victoria said: “Throughout my life, I’ve used clothes to become someone else, be the person that I always wanted to be, that maybe naturally I wasn’t.

“I used to customise the school uniform in the bathroom at lunchtime. I used to love watching my mum get dressed up, you know she really cared and made the best of herself.

“I remember my mum saying to me if you dress up to get on the aeroplane, if there’s any chance of being upgraded they’re always going to look at who looks the best. I mean the truth is, there is no first class on budget air lines.”

Posting the teaser on Instagram, Netflix captioned: “Victoria Beckham looks back on the importance of fashion in her life VICTORIA BECKHAM comes to Netflix October 9.”
