According to UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric, the attack on UNIFIL troops, which included an Israeli drone dropping a grenade in the vicinity of a patrol and a tank opening fire on peacekeepers close to the border town of Kfar Kila, was “very, very dangerous.”

The Lebanese army and the United Nations Interim Force (UNIFIL) work together to ratify the ceasefire that Israel and Hezbollah agreed to last year. Nearly daily, Israel has broken the truce.
The incidents came as a result of similar attacks on October 1, 2, and 11 and were condemned by France’s Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.
The Israeli army has repeatedly targeted us in different ways, including using lasers or warning shots, according to Dujarric. He claimed that UNIFIL employees were in contact with Israeli soldiers to “protest vehemently” against the attacks.
UNIFIL reported an Israeli drone flying over its patrol on Sunday, claiming that its peacekeepers had taken the necessary defensive measures to stop it. No injuries or losses were reported.
In contrast to the ceasefire, Israel has been launching nearly daily attacks in southern Lebanon, occupying five positions, and still holding onto the position five times. On Monday, a strike in the Tyre district’s al-Bayyad village resulted in the death of at least two brothers.
The two were killed in an attack on a sawmill in al-Bayyad, according to the Lebanese official news agency ANI.
In the southern and eastern Lebanon raids, three people were killed on Sunday.
Hezbollah’s members are being targeted by the military, according to Lebanon’s leaders, who have accused it of trying to obstruct reconstruction by using heavy-duty equipment like bulldozers and diggers.
The Israeli army claimed that Hezbollah’s Sunday attacks targeted a man who was “helping the group’s attempts to rebuild its capacity for military action” and another man.
Israel’s attacks have severely weakened Hezbollah, which has declared that it is prepared to defend itself. According to Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem, “the possibility of war exists but is uncertain, it depends on their calculations.”
Lebanon has been under intense American military pressure to give its weapons to the United States government.
