Two Factory Workers Dead After Falling Into Diesel Reservoir In Lagos

In Lagos State’s Ikosi Oregun area, two factory workers were reported dead on Saturday after falling into a diesel reservoir.  

One of the men (an adult) unintentionally slammed into the diesel reservoir while at work, according to preliminary investigations.

“The second adult male, in an attempt to rescue the first, also fell into the reservoir,” the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) said in a statement.

After receiving first aid, including CPR, the Lagos State Ambulance Service (LASAMBUS), both victims were immediately taken to the hospital after suffering severe injuries. ”
