Truth behind Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively leaked clip revealed by Hollywood intimacy co-ordinator
Justin Baldoni’s legal team recently made it clear that the director is still contesting allegations made by co-star Blake Lively about sexual harassment.
Now, an intimacy co-ordinator has shared their thoughts. The pair engaged in small talk while filming a slow dance scene for the movie, and the pair exchanged a 10-minute video.
While the pair were dancing, Blake could be heard telling Justin that she thought their conversation was “more romantic,” before making up the joke that she felt “so nosey” when their noses touched. “I know. And my nose is so big”, Baldoni joked.
However, Blake Lively’s attorney stated to TMZ shortly after that Blake Lively and his lawyer “might hope this latest stunt will get ahead of the damaging evidence against him, but the video itself is damning.” Every frame of the released footage corroborates, to the letter, what Ms. Lively described in Paragraph 48 of her Complaint”.
Lively’s teams also claim the video “shows Mr. Baldoni repeatedly leaning in toward Ms. Lively, attempting to kiss her, kissing her forehead, rubbing his face and mouth against her neck, flicking her lip with his thumb, caressing her, telling her how good she smells, and talking with her out of character”.
Now, intimacy co-ordinator Mia Schachter who has worked on Apple TV+’s Lessons in Chemistry, HBO’s Insecure and FX’s American Crime Story has shared her thoughts with The Hollywood Reporter. On what stood out for her during the scene, she told the publication: “The first thing is that he is trying to kiss her, and they clearly haven’t discussed that ahead of time, and she keeps pulling away and clearly doesn’t want to do that”.
Mia responded to a question about the power dynamic between the two and said that despite being an A-List star and not fear of being fired like someone else might, she still needs to work with him, maintain the peace, and behave politely. The intimacy expert then added that she could see the Gossip Girl actress trying to “appease” her co-star while keeping a smile on her face. Mia also highlighted it was ‘ clear ‘ Baldoni was in charge on set, although Lively ‘ isn’t powerless’.
Although Baldoni’s team see the clip as ‘ vindicating ‘ of himself, Mia thinks the complete opposite. She states that although someone of Lively’s level of fame has power, the director is always in charge during the ‘ actor-director ‘ relationship. She then stated that she would have discussed Lively’s comfort level and Baldoni’s desires if she had been intimate director during this specific scene.
Blake filed her lawsuit against Justin and his production company in December, where she accused her co-star of causing a “hostile work environment” with “disturbing and unprofessional” behaviour. She specifically cited a slow-moving scene where he “leaned forward and slowly dragged his lips down her neck as he said, “It smells so good.”
Justin, on the other hand, claimed Blake made the suggestion that he should have nose cosmetic surgery while filming a “romance montage” false. Since then, he has lodged a lawsuit against Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, alleging extortion and defamation in relation to the movie It Ends With Us.
According to the lawsuit, Lively and her team allegedly lied to Baldoni and took control of the movie by spreading false information. There is compelling evidence, the director’s attorney asserts.
