Trump says US struck another ‘drug smuggling vessel’, killing three

At least three men were killed on the ship when American forces launched another strike, according to Donald Trump, who claimed it was “trafficking illicit narcotics.”

Late on Friday, the US announced a third deadly attack on an alleged drug smuggling vessel this month.

Trump claimed that the “lethal kinetic strike” occurred within the “area of responsibility” of the US Southern Command, which includes 31 nations in South and Central America and the Caribbean, in a post on his Truth Social platform.

According to Trump, “intelligence confirmed that the vessel was transiting along a known route for narcotics and was attempting to poison Americans,” according to the report.

Three male narcoterrorists were killed aboard the vessel, which was in international waters, as a result of the attack. In this strike, no US forces were hurt.

The US has launched strikes twice this month against alleged drug-smuggling vessels with origins in Venezuela.

11 people were killed when Trump claimed that the US military had attacked a small boat he claimed was a Tren de Aragua gang drug dealer in South America on September 2.

Trump referred to the victims as “narcoterrorists” who were “transporting illegal narcotics to the United States.”

A second alleged Venezuelan drug cartel vessel was struck in international waters on Monday, according to Trump’s announcement.

He claimed that three men were killed in the attack and that they had been “positively identified” as being “extraordinarily violent drug trafficking cartels and narcoterrorists.”

Rights groups have expressed concern about whether the strikes violate international law and the rights of the people who have been subjected to an unlawful extrajudicial execution.

The Trump administration’s pressure campaign against President Nicolas Maduro has also strained relations between the Venezuelan government and Washington.
