Troops Kill Over 25 Terrorists In Zamfara, Rescue Seven Kidnap Victims
In Zamfara State, the military’s efforts to stop criminal activity in the region have resulted in the deaths of over 25 terrorists, with 18 others suffering gunshot wounds.
The troops of Troops of America carried out the Operation Fansan Yamma; The Joint Task Force North West’s second sector.
Lieutenant Colonel Abubakar Abdullahi, the coordinator of Operation Fansan Yamma, made the disclosure in a statement on Sunday.
He claimed that troops in Zamfara’s Fakai neighborhood, part of the Shinkafi Local Government Area (LGA), dismantled terrorist hideouts on January 10.

Bello Turji and Mallam Ila, where more than 25 terrorists were neutralized, with more than 18 others suffering gunshot wounds, were some of the camps that were cleared, according to him.
“Additionally, 7 kidnapped victims were able to escape from the terrorists’ camps amid the operation. ”
The Air Component Operation Fansan Yamma, he claimed, provided support for the troops during the offensive.
Abdullahi stated that all terrorist elements within its joint operation area will continue to be pursued and neutralized by Operation Fansan Yamma.
Our troops continue to work hard to eradicate these threats, so we urge all terrorist kingpins and their associates to immediately surrender and end all violence.
