Liam “Gatsby” Blackwell, the star of The Only Way Is Essex, has revealed that he has received two evacuation orders while attempting to escape wildfires in Los Angeles.

The 36-year-old reality star relocated to California in May 2023 to start a new life, but Los Angeles is now in danger as destructive fires threaten to encircle the city. One of the worst natural disasters to strike the State in the history of the United States has been witnessed by the world as wildfires have levelled some areas of the city.

Over 180, 000 people have been evacuated from the city where the film industry thrives, and over 13, 000 homes have been damaged or destroyed as a result of the fires, which has been confirmed as one of the biggest disasters to have hit the city. High winds have made controlling the blazes extremely challenging, and airborne sparks have spread throughout the city as firefighters battle the infernos.

Gatsby has been revealing to his followers that he has been trapped in the chaos on social media. He uploaded photos of families in a wealthy neighborhood to Instagram over the weekend. He explained why he was being forced to seek shelter for a second time amid the chaos.

He continued, “I left my house in West Hollywood yesterday and arrived at my family home in West Hills.” And now there’s a new fire that’s just started over there. I think they’re saying I’m going to have to evacuate. Everyone’s starting to pack. It’s crazy”.

And he expressed his concern for the fires’ origins in a follow-up message. He typed: “This is outta control!! It makes no sense how these fires can continue to start in randomly placed locations because this has to be a planned attack or some of these have been planned! Just got a text to evacuate!! Please God, make the house and everyone else stay safe… Big up all the Firefighters! “!

At least one man has been detained on suspicion of arson after fires spread throughout Los Angeles after a third day, despite officials’ yet-to-be-officially identifying the cause of the fires. According to reports on Saturday, a man who had been detained after being connected to the Los Angeles fire that erupted on Thursday night in connection with the incident at Kenneth had been released.

By Friday night, authorities had revealed they lacked sufficient evidence to charge him with arson. Meanwhile, two additional men allegedly been allegedly caught on camera apparently starting a fire on purpose, according to the Daily Mail.

The individuals were reportedly caught “dumping gasoline and setting it on fire right away before the devastating Palisades fire broke out.” A senior firefighter was reportedly given the video, but the publication claims a firefighter told them, “By that time, we were too busy.” We instructed him to report the video to the police.

The devastating effects that the fires have had, including the destruction of infamous beachfront homes and entire neighbourhoods, have been captured on shocking footage from Los Angeles. The damage caused by the fires is said to be in the billions of dollars, with further high wind forecasts predicted for continued fire spread and increased damage.
