Tompolo Denies Issuing Ultimatum To FG Over Nnamdi Kanu

The Chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, Government Ekpemupolo, is known as Tompolo, but he has refuted reports that are out there saying he gave the Federal Government a 21-day ultimatum to release Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in its place.

Tompolo claimed in a statement signed by his media consultant, Paul Bebenimibo, that the publication was untrue and mischievous, and that he had no affiliation with the Nnamdi Kanu controversy or any other related issues.

“We firmly assert that High Chief Ekpemupolo did not write the article or approve it.” Detractors are trying to discredit him because of his firm opposition to illegal crude oil activities in the Niger Delta region. Tompolo continues to work hard to stop oil theft and pipeline vandalism, as these individuals have failed and will fail,” the statement reads in part.
