
With the approval of four new members, President Bola Tinubu has reorganized the Governing Council of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB).
According to Persecondnews, this move aims to promote local content creation and participation in the oil and gas sector.
The new hires are expected to fill vacant positions in the oil and gas sector and use their expertise to promote local content development.
The appointment of four new members to the Governing Council of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), according to Mr. Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, on Thursday was announced by Tinubu.
Mr. Olusegun Omosehin of the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) and Engr. Barrister Owei Oyanbo from the Ministry of Petroleum Resources, Mazi Sam Azoka Onyechi from the Nigerian Content Consultative Forum, and Ole Ogunsanya from the Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria (PETAN).
Representatives from important organizations, including the Ministry of Petroleum Resources, the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NPPRC), and the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), make up the NCDMB Governing Council, which was established under the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development (NOGICD) Act, 2010.
