In response to Israeli evacuation orders, thousands of Palestinians have evacuated Beit Hanoon, a town in northern Gaza, after deadly airstrikes have taken place there.
After the Israeli army issued evacuation orders for Beit Hanoon in northern Gaza and Khuza’a and Abasan in the south, calling them “dangerous combat zones,” civilians began to flee toward Jabalia, which is close to the town of Jabalia, in search of safety.
On his X-gram, army spokesman Avichay Adraee said, “You must evacuate immediately for your own safety to known shelters in western, Gaza, City, and Khan Younis.”
Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, breaking a nearly two-month ceasefire, claimed the Ministry of Health, killing at least 404 Palestinians and injuring 562 others.
The ministry added in a statement that “many victims are still living in the rubble and are pursuing recovery.”
Since the Israeli airstrikes ended on January 19 with a ceasefire with the Palestinian organization Hamas, the air strikes were the largest Israeli attacks.
According to the Gaza-based government media office, all of the victims’ families were included in the list, and the Palestinian Civil Defense’s ambulances and teams were unable to transport all of the victims to hospitals.
The statement read, “These brutal massacres demonstrate once more that the Israeli occupation army only speaks the language of killing, destruction, and genocide.”
Local authorities in , Gaza had reported almost daily violations by the Israeli army despite the ceasefire.
