A well-known broadcasting figure who regularly appears on the daytime ITV show This Morning is expected to join the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here cast this year.

Political pundit Nick Ferrari is set to join the cast of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here according to reports.

The radio presenter is in talks to het out to Australia for the new series in a lucrative deal due to his popularity with ITV audiences on shows such as This Morning. While fans are used to him taking on a more serious persona and discussing news-related topics, he has a strong fan base that could see him easily transfer his following to an entertainment show.

According to an insider, “Jungle bosses think Nick would make a fantastic addition this year.” Conversations continue for a lot of time. He would have a lot of Westminster gossip around the campfire because he is well-versed in politics. He’d likely also weigh in and express his opinion during debates.

They continued to The Sun, “Producers are determined to bag him this year and are prepared to dig deep into their pockets for a lucrative fee. It would be the first time Nick’s fans would see him in an entertainment show. He’d definitely be out of his comfort zone.”

The LBC star got married to his long-term partner Clare Patterson in a lavish star-studded bash in the South of France last month. Guests at the ceremony included Myleene Klass, Christopher Biggins and Piers Morgan.

Nick joins other rumored camp mates including Emmerdale ’s Lisa Riley, ex-EastEnders star Shona McGarty, and YouTuber Morgan Burtwistle – also known as Angryginge. The 25th series is set to kick off in November with Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly once again at the forefront of the show.

Other social media stars, many of whom are said to be “snubbed,” are thought to have been upset by the addition of Angryginge to the line-up.

A source told the Express, “It’s turned into an influencer war every single year now. There are some really big names in that space who have been trying to get into the jungle for ages, and they feel ITV keep ignoring them. First it was GK Barry last year, now it’s Angry Ginge – people are fuming.”

Angry Ginge, whose content focuses on FIFA, has more than 3 million followers across TikTok and Instagram and has already filmed videos with football stars such as Wayne Rooney. He even participated in Soccer Aid this year. It is thought that ITV bosses are eager to get the TikTokker into the jungle as GK Barry was popular on last year’s series.

The insider claimed that this was causing the audience’s perception of influencers on camera, particularly those who have had years of contacts with ITV.

They continued, “The mood in the background is not good. Some of these influencers have had long, fruitful discussions with ITV.

They were already furious when GK Barry received the call-up last year, and they are now watching another online sensation take the top spot in the jungle. They experience stitching.

We do not make any comments about rumors about contestants, ITV said.
