‘This £28 candle warming lamp has transformed my mood and my living room’
Let’s not even try to pretend that January isn’t a bleak month. Yes, we might all be raising money to fulfill our Christmas resolutions, but it’s also cold and we’ve all spent it all. As a result, I’ve discovered a low-cost piece of furniture that is incredibly joyful.
Let me introduce you to the Loowoko Candle Warmer Lamp, £28.99 on Amazon. I received it for Christmas, but I only recently completed the unboxing process this week. I knew right away that I would use the lamp without fail every night once I opened the door and found a candle to place underneath it.
This lamp makes my living room side table look much more sophisticated than it did with its sleek wood grain finish and vintage-inspired shape. It has the appearance of a piece that belongs in a chic cafe or boutique without the high price tag.
But it’s not just about the looks. Thanks to a 50-watt halogen bulb that gently warms the wax, this clever Loowoko lamp makes your favorite scent candles melt in a cleaner, safer manner. Within minutes, you’ll notice the fragrance filling the room, and the best part? No flames, no soot and no indoor pollution. It’s also a good idea for people like me who occasionally forget to light a candle before going to bed and then wake up in a panic.
I hardly ever turn the heating on because of how warm my blanket is.
The timer function, which makes it so simple to use, is another fantastic feature. You’ve got three settings — 2, 4, or 8 hours — so you can set it and forget it. No more worrying about burning your candle for too long on purpose. And if you love a bit of customisation, you’ll appreciate the dimmer function with four brightness levels. You have complete control over how quickly the scent fills your space because the brighter the light the candle melts.
Additionally, burning a candle lasts twice as long as consuming the fragrance, which means you can enjoy the aroma for hours. The room’s candle will occasionally still smell after spending the evening under the lamp in the morning.
The warmer’s versatility is fantastic, too. It is compatible with most home candles, which are up to 6 inches tall, and have a height adjustment that can be used between 4 and 5 i.d.
The lamp works best with premium candles that are full of essential oils, in my opinion. The scent will be released when a candle is lit, much like it would be expected if it were burned the traditional way. If you like the candle I have in the pictures, it’s The White Company Winter Mercury Luxury Votive Candle, £16. It smells incredible as well, of cinnamon, clove and orange.
You can shop the candle lamp for £28.99 here if you also need a little January pick-me-up!
