Joe Scott, a former contestant for The Traitors, has addressed some viewers’ outrage at him.

On the third season of the BBC show, which wraps up later this week, Joe, 37, had been a Faithful. However, in Wednesday’s episode, Traitors Minah Shannon and Charlotte Berman “murdered” the English teacher.

Joe targeted Kasim Ahmed and Alex Oleksy at the round tables while he was a resident of Ardross Castle in Scotland. He did however vote for Linda Rands, who was an original Traitor, on two occasions.

However, some viewers didn’t like Joe on the show, and it’s even been suggested on social media that he was the “worst” Faithful in the show’s history. He has since addressed the issue in a statement to the Mirror.

Joe has criticized “weird” statements made about him being “the worst Faithful” (BBC/Stuart Lambert)

Joe claimed to have received “quite a lot of backlash” and that his claim to find that title “weird” given that he managed to survive several murders and banishments. He said: “I mean, I’ve had quite a big backlash. I find it odd that I made it to the final week to become the worst Faithful ever.

He continued to recall, just like Jake Brown, how he had his suspicions about Linda. When she was revealed as one of the Traitors following her banishment in an episode last week, the pair were able to demonstrate their innocence.

Joe said, “Also, so many people were like, “How is Linda still in? ” in response to fans who had questioned why she stayed in the game for so long. and I was one of the few people who worked on Linda’s case because we were so reluctant to talk about it. So y’know, I’d say I’m not up there with the worst Faithfuls. Who is it, but undoubtedly not me.

Joe Scott, the star of The Traitors, recently addressed the Mirror about the difficulties that round tables (BBC/Studio Lambert) can present.

When he spoke about the round tables, he said, “It is very difficult because you all become very close, and that’s what made this year a challenging experience. Because I thought, ‘ There’s gonna be people in there that I naturally won’t get on with and it will make it easier. ‘” Joe, however, claimed that despite his best efforts, he ended up getting along with everyone. Therefore, it was required to say those names when it arrived at the table.

Joe explained that he entered the round tables feeling “really confident” because he had never heard anyone make suspicions of him. He claimed that because I was so open-minded at the table, “I think people just thought, “If he were a traitor, would he really be so hostile toward other Faithfuls just to make us realize? ‘. So I believe that, despite making some errors, my faith flourished as a result.

The Traitors airs on BBC One and BBC iPlayer every Thursday night at 9 p.m. The third series’ finale will air on Friday at 8:30 p.m.
