The new movie adaptation is scheduled to be released on July 23, 2027, according to a social media announcement. Fans are anticipating a feature adaptation of the long-running Matt Groening-created Fox animated series, despite the lack of plot details.
On their Instagram feed, 20th Century Studios confirmed the news. A pink donut adorned with sprinkles in the shape of the number 2 was shared with Homer Simpson in a picture. “Homer is returning for seconds,” the caption of the photo read.
