The Masked Singer’s Tattoo star Carol Decker breaks silence after being ‘robbed’ in sing-off

Carol Decker, the Masked Singer star, has made a first appearance since appearing on the ITV singing program as Tattoo.

The 67-year-old singer is best known as the face of pop band T’Pau, best known for hits like China in your Hand and Valentine. After giving a rendition of Tina Turner’s Proud Mary after four weeks of appearances on The Masked Singer, the 80s pop icon was revealed to be the actor who created the character Tattoo.

Speaking on the show to host Joel Dommett after being unmasked, Carol revealed that she was “gutted” to leave the competition after “loving” her experience. “Everybody is amazing, but I’m gutted because it’s the best fun ever”.

Carol shared a video of herself recreating her unmasking on X, formerly Twitter, after posting it on social media for the first time since her Masked Singer reveal. As friends and family yell, “Take it off! ! !!” as Carol slowly removes a cardboard box from her head in the video.

The singer then flies around the room while her family cheers her on. Shortly afterwards, Carol retweeted a fan’s post which read: “Mind blown and you were robbed”!

Dressed Crab was Carol Decker’s Tattoo’s entry into the sing-off, but judges Mo Gilligan, Davina McCall, Maya Jama, and Jonathan Ross as well as guest judge Tom Daley chose to save it. Kate Garraway as Spag Bol, Prue Leith as Pegasus, and Macy Gray as Toad in the Hole are the other actors to be cast in the series, making her the fourth.

Macy Gray stormed off stage before being revealed as Toad in the Hole at the reveal that turned out to be dramatic last weekend. Macy refused to remove her mask in scenes that left the judges confused, according to reports that producers spent almost an hour trying to persuade the 57-year-old star to return to the stage.

After presenter Joel Dommett made the announcement, a source told The Sun Macy that the decision had left them “totally blindsided.” Everyone was stunned when Macy stormed off stage, but the insider claimed that the crew immediately removed her mask so they could calm her down when she reached backstage.

Macy was “almost shellshocked” right away, but because she really enjoyed being on the American version, which she obviously did brilliantly, she was gutted to be out so early. She both experienced shock and shock as well, and both at the time, she had a very raw, human reaction and wanted to leave.

Next Saturday, The Masked Singer will air on ITV and ITVX starting at 7 p.m.
