The British actress and former professional lacrosse player’s wife Vanessa Kirby and fiance Paul Rabil are celebrating the birth of their first child.
The actress, 37, who is best known for her portrayal of Princess Margaret, and Rabil, 39, who is now a sports executive, shared the news over the weekend via Rabil’s Instagram, giving readers an inside look at their early stages of parenthood.
Rabil wrote in response to the experience, “I’m learning that being a parent both slows you down and wakes you up.” I’m very appreciative of everyone’s health, that I get to see my mother every day, and that we now have you in our lives.

As they enjoy their new beginning, the couple has not yet disclosed the baby’s gender or name.
Vanessa made the pregnancy announcement while escorting the set of the Fantastic Four: First Steps premiere in Mexico City back in June. On the red carpet, the actress cradled her bump while sporting a metallic blue and green halter neck dress.
For the occasion, she donned loose-fitting hair, black heels, and simple makeup. She captioned the event’s photos on Instagram, “Mexico, we loved you! Thank you for making our trip the best possible. Sue Storm taught me a lot about being a first-time mother in the movie.

In 2024, Vanessa and professional lacrosse player Paul Rabil first sparked dating rumors in October of that year. When Paul posted a picture of them on his page in November 2023, they made their relationship official on Instagram.
He added that life is much better, more purposeful, and more beautiful with you since the first time the two of them met in Des Moines, all the way back.
