Taylor Swift has announced some massive career news. The singer has signed a huge contract with Disney Plus to create a docuseries and release a new concert film about her international and ultra-successful Eras Tour, which will be released in just a few weeks.
The Fate of Ophelia singer confirmed that the series had been commissioned on Monday (13 October). Titled The End of an Era and The Eras Tour Final Show, both the docuseries and concert film will be available to stream on Disney Plus from 12 December.
When announcing the six part series, it was said to be “an intimate look at Taylor’s life as her tour made headlines and thrilled fans around the world”.

The concert film, which follows her performance in Vancouver, will drop at the same time. While Taylor has released a previous Eras Tour film, the last one was made before the release of her album The Tortured Poets Department, and therefore, did not include any of those songs.
Not only will the Final Show film include the segment of Tortured Poets songs, but it will include the two surprise songs Taylor sand in Vancouver. These were a mash-up of A Place In This World and New Romantics, and another of Long Live and New Year’s Day.
