She argued that the ads were encouraging people to use the restroom and instead urged them to potty train their children as children were still in their young ages.

Parents wise up, these companies are loving the excuses you make for why you haven’t potty trained your child, because the longer they stay in them, the more money they make.

If you are persistent, I’ve been potty training kids for four decades, and it never lasts longer than a week. In fact, having a child with you causes power struggles if you’re not.

Before offering her advice, she advised parents to “get your kids ready for the milestone” in the sense that “when you commit, you must be all in, so invest in a little travel potty because changing up in a car will delay the process.”
