Strictly’s Wynne Evans caught in outrageous gusset joke on stage with Janette Manrara
After it was revealed Wynne Evans would no longer be a part of Strictly Come Dancing’s Live Tour, it became a source of further controversies.
At a recent photocall during the launch in Birmingham, the 53-year-old Welsh opera singer was reportedly heard making a demeaning remark to tour host Janette Manrara. He later apologised for his offensive behavior. However, it’s since been announced that he’s taking a break from the tour, as well as his BBC Radio Wales show.
Fans have taken to social media to post clips of him on stage during the tour now that the outcry over his actions has grown.
In one clip from a previous show, Wynne is seen on stage one-on-one with Janette. The video of Wynne making jokes with the live tour host was shared by one user on TikTok. They shared their confusion at the scenes, though, captioning the post: “I’m so confused with what’s going on? Surely Janette wouldn’t feel comfortable doing a 1to1 on the tour? Thoughts?
Wynne joked about how low Wynne’s score was in comparison to Aljaz Skorjanec’s husband in the video. The fans were then instructed to talk to one another as he joked that he had to send her a message and that “she has ripped her gusset.” Can you fill? “
Before Wynne belted out a song to entertain the audience in Birmingham, another user posted a video of the pair performing on stage together. He wasn’t performing at the M&, S Bank Arena in Liverpool for the most recent performance on Tuesday, it has now been revealed. He was not visible as his coworkers, who had previously been spotted alongside some co-stars while they had recently arrived in the city, left their hotels before the live show.
Following Wynne’s apology and the start of the incident, the shared footage appears in the shared footage. I’ve agreed with the BBC that I’ll take some time out from my radio show and the Strictly Live tour, as well as my other public commitments, to prioritise my wellbeing, “he said.
” I am deeply sorry for the pain my inappropriate actions have caused, and plan to take this time for self-reflection. I’m sorry to those who won’t be able to see the remaining performances, and I’m appreciative of my fellow tour members’ continued support.
Professional dancer Katya Jones, 35, shared her thoughts on the news after the announcement. He had collaborated on Strictly last year and its subsequent live tour. Alongside his statement, Katya wrote on social media:” Let’s show humanity and consideration. My sweet boy, I’ll miss you forever.
