Since his name was announced as a member of the BBC dance series this year, Thomas Skinner has been the subject of controversy.
Thomas Skinner, the star of Strictly Come Dancing, claimed that his wife Sinead overtly condoleed him over her affair with Amy-Lucy O’Rourke.
Just weeks after marrying his wife Sinead, Thomas, 34, recently admitted to having a “one-off fling” with beauty expert Amy-Lucy. Amy-Lucy later refuted Thomas’ claims, saying that the couple had been having a three-month relationship.
After Amy-Lucy’s revelations, Thomas has since stated how his wife Sinead has been “awful” by witnessing the scandal. After the birth of their son in October 2020, Thomas and Sinead tied the knot in May 2022. In June 2023, they welcomed twin daughters.

Even though Thomas’ affair was three years old, it recently gained attention before his Strictly debut.
Thomas has now explained how his wife managed to forgive him for the fling and how she feels the same way about it.
He said, “I know the mistakes I’ve made in my life, but it was awful for my poor wife to read it all, which is why I feel bad.”
Thomas continued, “We had already left this,” Thomas continued to write to the Daily Mail. I’m working hard and currently viewed in the public eye. My wife needs to read something she has read to get through, and my entire life has been squandered and repurposed.
The Strictly star, who is working with Amy Dowden on the series, also revealed how his wife forgived him. He continued, “We have worked at it for a long, long time until she forgives me.” Although I won’t ever claim to be perfect, it was heartbreaking to see my wife go through this. But she asserted that it wouldn’t compromise us or cause us to fall apart. She said, “I love her and she loves me to pieces.
Thomas also disclosed that his wife will attend his first live performance on Strictly until he is chosen to leave the show. The performance will take place tonight.
Due to his centre-right political stance, outspoken rants on X, and connections to Donald Trump’s vice president JD Vance, Thomas’ signing hasn’t been a popular choice among Strictly fans. However, the Apprentice star has maintained a positive outlook on his Strictly journey.
Professional dancer Amy sent a message to her partner ahead of his first live performance dance with Amy Dowden.
She wrote, “Today is the day! ” on Instagram. I’m so excited to dance on the magical @bbcstrictly floor with my amazing partner @iamtomskinner for the first live performance. Watching Tom develop a love for dancing and seeing improvement each day has been such a wonderful experience.
His day job “couldn’t be any easier” to dance and perform. We worked really hard, and we had a great time. I’ve got to know how much fun family man Tom is! Let’s have fun with this! Can’t wait to find a partner.
