When he and Maya Jama were still dating, the grizzly artist spent £15,000 on the trained protection dog Enzo.
Stormzy has taken to his social media to announced that he is going through a huge family loss. The musician posted to his Instagram page to tell his followers that his beloved dog Enzo has died.
The star has been left devastated as his Rottweiler died seven years after he bought the protection dog for him and his ex-girlfriend Maya Jama. Stromzy shared a sweet tribute to his pet as he announced the sad news.
Throughout his absence, he frequently shared photos and videos of Enzo. He later wrote, “RIP my no. 1 boy. Have little to say; all that is devastated and heartbroken.

My boy, I adore you so much. You already know Enz meant a lot to me, so I’m going to miss you, my guy. Fans reshared the post and left their sweet messages, but Stormzy turned off the comment section.
One fan said, “I know how that feels,” while another fan said, “A lot that never leaves you and forever stays unmatched.”
Stormzy got his dog Enzo back in 2018 when he was still dating Love Island host Maya. He spent £15,000 on the protection dog.
Before becoming famous, the rapper had already been stabbed three times, so he sought the help of Chaperone K9, a security firm.
Chaperone K9 has also supplied dogs to West Ham striker Andy Carroll and Manchester United defender Phil Jones. Maya and Stromzy split in 2019 and then got back together.
However, they later revealed that they had split up again in 2024. At the time of the breakup, the former couple issued a joint statement.
We never, ever thought we would be the couple announcing a breakup, so we kept laughing as we went through with it.
We thought it might be best to do this for the sake of clarity and, more importantly, to allow us both the space and grace necessary to navigate this next phase of our lives with ease.
Maya continued, “We fell wildly in love in 2014, broke up in 2019, and spent five years living apart,” explaining their romantic journey.
Fans have been assured that the pair are still friends and that they are still in good terms even though the pair are no longer a product. If they are ever seen hanging out together, Maya claimed there shouldn’t be a stir.
She continued, “We are still grateful for the time we’ve had together, and we are still friends and will always be friends (so don’t stir up if you see us playing a little catch-up at The Brits or something similar),” she said. )”.
