After previously revealing that her dog Teddy is unable to work and is using a wheelchair, Stacey Solomon updated her worried followers with news.

Stacey Solomon has shared an update on her pet pooch Teddy, whose health has been a huge concern to the star. It comes months after her last update after previously explaining the dog had to have surgery after discovering he has a “predisposed condition”.

Now, taking to Instagram to share a sweet video of the pet enjoying being petted. As Teddy offered his paw following a grooming visit, Stacey explained his visit was due to it being difficult to wash him herself due to him not being able to stand up.

She continued, “Thank you for always looking for Teddy.” It really has a lot of meaning. He is such a happy boy. What a sweet boy, what a sweet boy!

He will never be able to use his legs again, but he is getting used to a wheelchair, Stacey openly stated. You just let it go, Teddy, don’t you? “

And she continued to shower him with cuddles and strokes before kissing him at the end of the video, calling him “just such a good boy.”

Stacey initially explained the condition of her pet, but earlier in the year she explained to her followers that he had become “suddenly unwell” prior to a procedure. The 35-year-old then explained how the Spaniel had a burst disc and “lost the use of his back legs.”

She later revealed it was “likely” that he will “never get the feeling back” in his legs and told how the pup will also need help emptying his bladder and walking. But now, thanks to wheelchair, Teddy is able to play again.

In July, she shared a clip of her dog getting about on his new aide. Posting a video of him with his assisted wheels, the former X Factor star shared her delight at seeing him able too run and play again.

She exclaimed, “Our Darling Teddy has wheels.” Teddy has finally learned to love his wheels after spending the last few days trying to teach him a new way of moving around. He initially had a lot of anxiety, but it was so amazing to see him again today with peanuts.

We’ve gotten some wheels and spoken to our vet, and we’ve purchased some. Please be kind if we are acting in any negative ways. We are trying our hardest to give Teddy the best life possible, so just let us know if you have any advice because this is completely new to us andamp;.

Teddy, you’ve been such a wonderful boy, she continued. We are hoping to give you the second chance you deserve because you have turned the world around you. To Teddy and the moon, back.
