On the most recent episode of her BBC series Stacey &, Joe, her ex-boyfriend Dean Cox and her son Zach celebrated Zach’s 17th birthday.
Stacey Solomon showed a lovely example of a happy blended family on the latest instalment of her reality TV show as her ex, and father of her eldest son, made a cameo on screen.
The 35-year-old mum-of-five used first-born son Zach’s 17th birthday to recall on the moment she found out she was expecting him at the age is he now and how her loved ones reacted to her teen pregnancy.
The BBC One series, Stacey & Joe, which also stars the Loose Women star’s husband Joe Swash, follows the happy couple and their busy lives. Stacey shares her three youngest children, daughters Rose, three, and Belle, two, and son Rex, six, with the former EastEnders actor.

Stacey, who was 17 years old when she learned she was expecting her first child, also has two children: Leighton, 12, and Zach, who is 12 years old, with former fiance Aaron Barnham.
Dean and Stacey & Joe invited Zach into their home on Tuesday night to celebrate Zach’s 17th birthday. When Stacey learned she was pregnant at the same age Zach had just turned 18, the blended family looked back on the fish and chips they had enjoyed.
When asked how old he was at the time, Dean responded, “I was only 18.” Stacey recalled how she first learned that she was going to be a teenage mother when she was 17 and how she became pregnant.
When we were in a cafe, my dad, her, and I all said, “Oh, my God, your onions stink, Dad.” He also lacked onions in his diet. Someone, like, was having onions at the other end of the cafe, and she said, “When was the last time you had a period?” I recall. I said, “I don’t know,” I was like. ‘”.
She made me tell my dad right away, ” “I immediately. Then, Jemma, Matthew, everyone, my brothers and sisters, all of whom were present, and my dad made me ring my mother.
Tuesday night’s instalment of Stacey & Joe was actually filmed back in March, coinciding with Zach’s real birthday. The doting mum took to Instagram at the time to celebrate her son’s 17th birthday with an emotional tribute to her first-born.
Stacey has previously discussed the “rocky road” that her and husband Joe had to navigate when blending their families. Joe has two older children, including Stacey’s two older ones from previous relationships, and ex-partner Emma Sophocleous.
According to Stacey, “The blended family situation has been a difficult road,” according to her interview with Parenting Hell in 2022. That’s never simple. Every single day, we have to put in a lot of effort to ensure that everyone feels secure.
She continued, revealing how her and Joe’s four eldest sons’ speeches at the wedding a few months earlier made her feel more confident in her blended family and that their condolences to her made her cry out loud.
She recalled, “It was so funny that we didn’t tell the boys you needed to do a speech,” before adding that Joe was an emotional mess the entire day. People are telling me, “Joe is a mess down there.”
