Stacey Solmon shares magical Halloween at Pickle Cottage – with incredible costumes
Even though Halloween is over, the memories will always be with Stacey Solmon and her adorable family of seven, who may have outdone themselves this year.
The Loose Women star is no stranger to an impressive Halloween getup, and in previous years, she and her family have taken on some favourite characters, including The Flintstones, the Addams family, and even The Wizard of Oz.
However, they may have been their best look of the year because they dressed up as Peter Pan characters from Disney’s Peter Pan and took inspiration from Neverland.
Stacey herself embodied Wendy’s role in a light blue dress, complete with a blue sash and hair bow, while her husband, Joe Swash, was, of course, her Peter Pan.
She joked to her six million followers in a joke about how her handsome boyfriend was “over the moon” with his green tights and feather-donning hat.
In her green fairy princess dress, Rose, 3, adorned with sparkles and gold, finished off with wings and a flower crown, made Tinkerbelle the “cutest” little girl.
While the oldest of their children, five-year-old Rex was Captain Hook. The five-year-old wore a black hat with white feathers and a pretend hook that could be seen protruding from his hand in addition to his dashing jacket, black pants, and boots.
The couple’s youngest child, 21-month-old Belle, went as Mr Smee, Captain Hook’s boatswain. As she donned a red beanie, a blue and white t-shirt, and a white shirt, she was seen smiling a lot.
Zachary and Leighton, Stacey’s two teenage sons, were not with the camera when they were, but given how close their families are, it would come as no surprise if they were there just hiding out like teenagers do.
Someone who didn’t shy away from getting pictures, though, was Stacey’s father, David Solmon, who ‘ won Halloween at Pickle Cottage’.
Sharing snaps from the themed disco, which took place in their backyard and included some very spooky decorations, such as plastic skeletons hanging from the ceiling, Stacey’s dad could be seen in a killer clown costume.
In red tartan pants, a black shirt and a matching tartan bow tie, the TV star told her followers, ‘ he has NEVER EVER dressed up before all the kids were so fascinated’. He and Rose posed alongside some gold skeletons and pumpkin carvings in a photo.
On her Instagram account, Stacey continued to post photos from the spooky night, including ones featuring a large white bouncy castle, a large crowd of attendees in terrifying costumes, and even some images from earlier in the day, which featured ghost-shaped toast and snuggles in bed.
She joked that she is “posting every picture because it’s basically Christmas for 15 minutes and told her followers she was “can’t tell you how happy this makes me” and that it was her “best night.”
