Reality TV stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag’s home in the Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles, was engulfed by flames on Tuesday.
A massive 1, 200-acre brush fire broke out in the Palisades on Tuesday morning, tragically resulting in Spencer and Heidi’s home being burned down as the wildfire tore through the star-studded neighbourhood, according to reports.
Thankfully, the couple, famous for their roles in The Hills, and their entire family managed to evacuate their home safely earlier in the day. Spencer shared a video on his Instagram Stories showing fire officials attempting to contain the blaze by pouring water from the sky onto the nearby mountainside before the evacuation started.
He was seen reportedly upset by the spreading fire outside of his home. His sister Stephanie also her horror at the devastation. Taking to Instagram, she wrote: “I am beyond heartbroken for my brother, Heidi &, the kids. And to all of our neighbors and friends who are currently without homes.
My dad tried to save my brother’s house, but the wind was so strong that he had to deal with him. Even the Palisades fire station burned down. The entire Pacific Palisades is blazing. No one is there. “
She continued, “My parents escaped safely and are observing the fire’s progression toward their home through security cameras.” My father informed me that the market just across the street from my house is ablaze, so I don’t even want to look at it.
She described how close the neighborhood is to her and said she detests being so far and is considering returning home to “gip my family.”
James Woods, the actor, also filmed the raging flames from his home in a similarly endangered area.
His video showed firefighters working tirelessly, dropping water on the area. As the Pacific Palisades fire spread across Los Angeles, it was reported that the Getty Villa Museum was “on fire.”

Due to the ongoing fire in the Pacific Palisades, California Governor Gavin Newsom issued a state of emergency for the counties of Ventura and Los Angeles later on Tuesday.
