A famous friend who spoke of their “many trials and tribulations” before Argent’s performance took him to a stage in Spain close to where he was detained for domestic violence when he shoved his girlfriend down a flight of stairs.
The former TOWIE star took to the mic at Olivia’s La Cala restaurant on the Costa del Sol where he was seen entertaining holidaymakers after escaping jail. His recent legal issues didn’t seem to be bothering him as he chatted with guests and enjoyed taking selfies with devoted fans.
After arriving with glum-faced head-to-toe black and a head-toe black head-toe set, Argent quickly began to work the room, smiling, shaking hands, and posing for pictures in the photo booth. He was overheard telling punters he was feeling good and looking forward to getting on stage.
The 37-year-old made his way through a terrace of diners at the well-known tourist resort to kick off his “Arg and friends” set. He was greeted with a handshake by the venue’s owner, Elliott Wright – a fellow former TOWIE star and the cousin of Argent’s TOWIE pal Mark Wright.
Elliot addressed the audience and said, “When I got burnt down, he was there for me.” The reality TV star also addressed the crowd. He has supported me, which is what friendship is; it was how I was raised.

The performance comes days after it was revealed that he had pushed his girlfriend, who is also a beauty queen, down concrete stairs at a house they were renting when a row turned violent and left him with Nicoline Artursson, who had bruised and bloody.
Disturbing court documents released this week revealed how Artursson, a former Miss Sweden, suffered a catalogue of injuries to her neck, arms, hand and leg that took a week to heal.
Prior to breaking up with the prosecution, Argent admitted to a lesser crime of “mistreatment” and was ordered to spend nine months in jail for the more serious crime of wounding.
Argent, 37, who was a regular on ITV’s The Only Way is Essex between 2010 and 2018, was given a six-month suspended jail sentence and a two-year restraining order for which he was barred from contacting his 32-year-old girlfriend. He is reportedly going to finish a 10-week course in Spanish domestic violence rehabilitation, which includes listening to survivors’ stories of abuse.
However, the reality star showed no sign of his recent troubles as he performed with a smile on his face in front of a packed house at Malaga restaurant Olivia’s.
About an hour before he sang his first song, Argent was seen greeting and smiling at fans. The TV host belted out tracks by Rick Astley from Never Going to Give You Up, Madness, and My Girl by The Temptations.
Argent used Instagram to promote his upcoming performance before taking the stage. Posing alongside a male friend before flying out, he captioned the shot to his 834, 000 followers: “Lucky to have @albiedavies by my side the next 2 days]heart emoji]. Tonight, @olivias_la_cala
The hotel where Argent and Nicoline were staying when a row broke out at 12:40 am on May 5 is close to the beachfront property in Mijas, close to where he and Nicoline were staying.
The TV regular is said to have become violent after Nicoline posted a cryptic Instagram post alluding to his relationship with ex-partner Lydia Bright, who starred alongside him on TOWIE. After their five-year breakup romance, which appeared on the ITV reality series, Bright and Magnet have remained close friends.

According to court records, Argent “grabbed hold of Nicoline” tightly by her arm and pushed her, causing her to fall down the stairs with the intention of harming.”
A prosecutor went on to detail about the injuries Nicoline sustained, including several abrasions to her right arm, her right hand, and her right leg. Nicole received medical care on the night, but it took seven days for her skin and soft tissue to heal.
Breaking his silence after his arrest, Argent – who was suspended by TOWIE in October 2014 after failing a drug test said”, I am devastated by what’s happened. I am still three years and four months clean and sober, Arg continued, insisting that the incident was not the result of a relapse.
A passerby who was dining nearby had left Nicoline sobbing in the street, according to The Mirror, who later intervened to offer her comfort. They told reporters:” I saw him throwing all his clothes off the balcony. He screamed loudly before leaving the house with a large bag.
“When I tried to call the police, but they didn’t speak English, Nicole was sobbing a lot and very nervous and agitated on the street. I went to help her translate. She said nothing like this had ever happened before”.
