Selling Sunset’s Bre Tiesi has given fans a glimpse into her unique family dynamic with baby daddy Nick Cannon.
The 33 year old reality star, who welcomed son Legendary Love with the Wild ‘ n Out host in 2022, revealed how they navigate their open relationship and shared parenting duties.
Speaking to Paul C Brunson on his new podcast We Need To Talk, Bre admitted that she sometimes feels jealous about family holidays, wanting to ensure her son spends enough time with his dad and siblings. Despite this, she maintains good relationships with Nick’s other children’s mothers and hopes for a more unified family unit in the future.
“Obviously there’s emotions involved, and I can’t help how other people feel. But if I’m invited, if you are okay with me being around, I will happily bring Legendary. I will come and say hi. I will drop a gift, I will leave him, and I will come back”, she said during the podcast.
In the same podcast, Bre candidly discussed her journey to becoming pregnant with her son, Legendary. She revealed that she had suffered ‘ several ‘ miscarriages before finally welcoming her son.
“I had several]miscarriages] and actually when I got pregnant with Legendary I had just had one, probably two months before”, she told Paul. At this time they told me I couldn’t get pregnant for at least six months and I was like ‘ f*** it I’m leaving then I’m going to Europe for the summer with my girls, I can’t deal with this I’m out’. I was at the point where they were like you’re going to have to do in vitro]test tube conception] and I didn’t want to do that. “
After returning from her summer travels, Bre discovered she was pregnant again, much to her doctor’s surprise. However, due to her previous experiences with miscarriage, she was hesitant to get too excited.
Her pregnancy went well, but what she didn’t anticipate was the level of hate she would receive online. Bre disclosed that she was inundated with racial hate messages and even death threats aimed at her unborn child after announcing her pregnancy”. There was a lot of racial hate which I didn’t anticipate, “she admitted”. I was getting crazy sh**. They were wishing death on my child. “
In a recent interview, Bre clarified the nature of her relationship with Nick Cannon. She revealed that they are in an open relationship and insisted that they ‘ are very much together’, despite Nick having ‘ other partners’. This revelation came during a podcast appearance on Wednesday. Bre stated:” Me and my partner have been on and off for years, ‘ and added, ‘ Basically, he has other partners, and we’re just open and happy and that’s our thing. “

Bre also commented on their unconventional family set-up, describing her relationship with Cannon as one of the ‘ healthiest she’s ever had’. The host, Sophie Habboo, praised their unique family arrangement, to which Bre responded by clarifying that she and Nick do not co-parent their child but are very much in a relationship.
She said:” I just want to be very clear, we don’t co-parent, we are very much together and that’s why people are confused. “She reiterated: ‘ Basically he has other partners and we’re just open and happy and that’s our thing”.
When asked about how she would label her relationship, Bre laughed and said: ‘ People call it all kinds of s**t I call it just I do what I want to do. ‘ Further clarifying, she added: ‘ I’m not a jealous person, I do…. I don’t care about, I don’t want a conventional relationship, I don’t want a full live-in person I’m responsible for, I’m responsible for my child. ‘ I feel like this is probably, which is so crazy, is like the healthiest relationship I’ve ever had. ‘ “
