Selena Gomez fans convinced her new song is a swipe at ex Justin Bieber

Selena Gomez appears to have taken a brutal swipe at her ex-boyfriend and Hailey’s husband, Justin Bieber, just days after avoiding Hailey Bieber.

Selena’s upcoming new song seems to be a rehash of Justin’s 2015 release Sorry. In tunes like What Do You Mean, he has also made deft digs at her ex-partner. and Mark My Words from his 2016 Purpose album.

The pair were an item when they were just teenagers, so they were taken. However, the pair’s relationship ended abruptly after they were confirmed in 2011. Instead, they split up until 2018 before continuing to be together until 2018. Selena is currently adored and waiting for a wedding to Benny Blanco, while Justin later wed Hailey.

The Only Murders In The Building singer’s track list was made available on social media for her upcoming album, easing her fans with her latest release. She wrote, “Benny &amp, I’m so excited to reveal the official tracklist for our album,” “I Said I Love You First, out March 21st,” in a letter she wrote.

One track on the list, which appears to be a rant against her ex, is called You Said You Were Sorry, which presumably refers to Justin’s 2015 hit. Fans on Twitter/X were quick to take notice of the alleged jibe, even though Selena limited who could respond to her Instagram post. And TikTok’s fellow users were persuaded as well. One user wrote, “I can’t help but believe that You Said You Were Sorry will be a response to Justin’s Sorry.”

One further claimed that the song was going to become the “controversy” off the album, while the third questioned, “Is You Said You Were Sorry About Justin?” Some people believe that Justin and his wife could be the subject of another song called Younger and Hotter Than Me.

The song’s lyrics were released earlier this month by Selena. She shared the lyrics to “I used to feel like an angel/ I’m a dog on your leash/ Begging for more/ X on my hand/ I use my own ID/ All of the girls at this party/ Are younger and hotter than I” in an interview with Interview. The chorus continued, “Wish I never loved you/We’re not getting any younger/but your girlfriends seem to be.”

Some believe the song is a scene from Selena and Justin’s final engagement in July 2018. As they were heading to a movie together, Justin and Hailey were seen holding hands. Additionally, Hailey is four years her junior.
