Ashley Moore, the fifth wife of Robin Hood actor Sean Bean, has revealed her cancer diagnosis for the first time in photos from her hospital bed.
Actor Sean Bean’s wife Ashley Moore has revealed her hidden cancer battle as she shared a photo from hospital. Ashley, 40, decided to open up on her health that she had kept private as she thanked the “strong women” in her life.
The Game of Thrones actor, 66, married Ashley eight years ago and called her “the one” after four failed marriages. What many people didn’t realise is that Ashley has previously battled a cancer diagnosis behind the scenes.
She has now revealed in public that she has a cancer survivor’s complete recovery in 2020. Ashley made the announcement by posting pictures of herself smiling throughout her treatment in a hospital gown.

She said, “Many people don’t know the journey I’ve taken.” However, I’m extremely proud to have such strong women supporting me.
Ashley told her followers, “I’m cancer free now, too.” and embracing life, which increases your appreciation for everything. Ashley did not disclose the type of cancer she had or when she was first diagnosed.
The couple, who wed in 2017, made a rare public appearance just last week at the premiere of Sean’s new project, Robin Hood. Ashley joined him for the premiere of his new TV series about the famous Nottingham outlaw who stole from the rich to give to the poor.
The 66-year-old, who is best known for his roles in Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones, stars as the Sheriff of Nottingham in the upcoming series, which will be released on November 2.
Sean, a Sheffield-born actor, donned a camel-colored suit that he paired with burgundy brogues and a matching tie for the occasion. Ashley paired a Chanel necklace with a black trouser suit and white shirt.
Sean and Ashley met by accident in a London pub, where they had three children together and had previously been divorced four times. They both vowed never to get married again.
He previously stated to the Daily Mail, “I wasn’t planning on getting married once more, but I wasn’t planning on meeting someone as amazing as Ashley.” The rest of our lives will be spent together, I’m so excited.
He described how they met in an interview with The Times as “We met in this old pub, this old pub, in town, called the Cobden Arms]in London’s Camden. She and my friend were there by chance, and I was also there with her. She’d never been there before, despite the fact that I used to occasionally go there. We kind of got each other going.
Sean, a self-proclaimed romantic, was forced to ask the question again in 2014, with his fifth wedding coming three years later. He gushed about his wife, who “changed his life,” saying, “She’s full of life.” Exuberant . a lot of positive energy.
Sean, who wed Ashley’s fifth wife, told The Times: “I’ve obviously experienced more marriages than most people. I suppose I’m a romantic because I’d already give it up. But I have no regrets. I would experience it again.
