Scotland’s women continued their revival at the European Championships of Curling by beating Switzerland to roar into the final against Sweden.

The Scots, who won the final three round-robin games to advance to the semi-finals but were silver medallists last year and ranked second overall, lost four of their opening six games.

And Rebecca Morrison’s rink won 8-5 to advance to the final in a tight match and claim a fourth victory in a row.

On Saturday, at 08:00 GMT, the BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website and app will broadcast that game live.

Scotland’s men will attempt to play them for them on Friday at 07:00 GMT, which is live on the BBC Sport website, app, and BBC iPlayer.

Bruce Mouat’s rink finished their round-robin campaign with a 100% record, sealing an 8-5 victory over Italy earlier on Thursday.

We’re pleased with the performance, Mouat declared. “I like how we handled it as if it were already a play-off game.”

Regardless of whether we are in the final or bronze medal game, “We will have hammer in both play-offs.”
