Taylor Swift’s fans have reacted bitterly to the claim that Scooter Braun’s highly public feud with her helped her hone her musical career, which has sparked a bitter backlash from the music mogul.

Scooter Braun has raised eyebrows with a claim that his infamous feud with Taylor Swift helped improve her career. The 44-year-old music producer and the 35-year-old Wildest Dreams singer clashed in 2019 when he bought her old record label, Big Machine Label Group.

Taylor’s first six records’ master recordings were included in the deal, which caused her to bitterly criticize the businessman. She then went on to re-record her albums and re-release them for a sizable sum of money.

After re-releasing four of the six albums this year, Taylor successfully recovered the rights to her own music, giving the impression that she might no longer be able to re-record her debut and Reputation albums. Scooter now makes the suggestion that Taylor’s feud that led to the re-release of the records may have contributed to her finding success that she would not otherwise have been able to achieve despite her re-recording of four albums.

Fans of the actor have, however, made it abundantly clear that they disagree with Scooter’s theory and that he should be punished for his criticism. Taylor’s fans have criticized Scooter for his comments, but he has also shared his thoughts with praise for the Lavender Haze singer.

Scooter and the chart-topping star spoke on Danielle Robay’s Question Everything podcast about their relationship. He cited her re-recorded albums as the “most impressive moment of her career,” reinvigorating her career with each.

The Big Machine Records and Taylor’s masters were previously reported to have cost $ 300 million (£220 million) to acquire Scooter in 2019. After selling the records to an investment firm called Shamrock Holdings for $ 45 million (£ 300 million), Swift herself purchased the music in May for a ‘$ 360 million (£ 268 million) later.

Scooter gushed, “It was brilliant on her part. You could see a spike in the original catalog, but she also released one each time. Funny enough, everyone involved in the saga triumphed, both financially and psychologically.

She is “the biggest artist of all time and the biggest she’s ever been.” The asset was really useful to us. Because of those spikes, the people who purchased the asset did incredibly well.

There are situations in life where there is no need for an oppressor and oppressed, there are situations where it is a miscommunication, and everyone can succeed, I wish kids and people out there knew that.

Fans of Taylor, who took to social media to criticize him, however, his comments sparked a backlash. She lives rent-free in his tiny head, one user wrote on X.

Another typed: “Man takes credit for the success of a woman,” an old tale. A third person wrote, “Is he obsessed or obsessed? “

Scooter is famous for helping discover Canadian pop star Justin Bieber – and the two famously parted ways, on a business level, in 2023. Earlier this month, Justin released his seventh studio album – which was his first since he ended his partnership with Scooter.

The businessman took to social media to praise the 31-year-old singer, however, writing ia Instagram Stories: “Been having a beautiful start to the weekend and been getting a lot of texts about how I feel about Justin’s new album.

“I’ll just leave this here,” I said. Without a doubt, this is Justin Bieber’s most authentic album to date. It is truly him, raw, and beautiful. And that is significant.

He continued, “I’ve had the honor of witnessing his development for almost 20 years. There comes a point where an artist fully enters their own space, as is the case with every journey, and that’s what he’s doing here. You can tell from the first run how passionate he is about this project.

I’m pleased to see him go about doing it in this way because the way he chose to release it is just as deliberate as the music itself. I didn’t play any role in this one, but as someone who has always believed in him, I’m incredibly proud and impressed, and I’m really enjoying the music.

Scooter added: “Justin has a special tone that I have witnessed for almost 2 decades. It’s the best in the world. And because of that special tone, I have to say daisies is probably my favorite record on the album.”
