Sainsbury’s Tu shoppers have found “the perfect trench coat for spring”. One fan called the $40 Tan Button Longline Tailored Trench Coat her “best purchase of the year” because of how impressive it is.

After TikTok user @libby_mercer posted a video showcasing the “stunning” trench coat, fashion lovers fell in love with it. Captioning her video, Libby wrote: “Sainsbury’s literally have the perfect trench coat for spring AND it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg?!??? Yes puhlease. I’ll be a “tuclothing stan until I die.”

In her video, she modelled the timeless coat, showing off the tie-waist belt, button fastening, and stripe-print cuffs. The clip has since been seen more than 100, 000 times, and shoppers clearly love the look.

Replying to the video, a fan said: “Ummm excuse me!? Sezane who!? Sainsbury’s! You shouldn’t have! This is stunning”. A second wrote: “Sainsbury’s are killing it at the minute”. A third praised: “It’s gorgeous”.

A fourth commented: “I already have one but I want this one”. Someone echoed: “Seriously considering getting this”. A fashion lover joked: “Girl, I’m gonna need you to delete this and repost on Friday once I get paid”.

Someone added: “Love the coat, so pretty!”! and yet another fan said: “I fear I need this”. Libby replied: “I’m not kidding when I say you actually do, my best purchase of the year! “!

Unfortunately, as commenters pointed out, the coat is currently out of stock in size small. Sizes range from small to large for the coat.
