Sabrina Carpenter’s fans have divided since a concert-goer made an appearance and knelt down on the stage during a recent live performance.
When a member of the audience threw something at the singer during a live performance, Sabrina Carpenter’s fans were upset. The 26-year-old pop star clearly looked unimpressed as she launched the item back into the crowd in the video that was taken by a fellow concertgoer, Adi Servin.
No matter what the object was, Adi wrote in a caption along with video from TikTok, “Don’t throw things at my girl Sabrina Carpenter.” Six nights at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena were the highlight of Sabina’s lengthy Short n ‘ Sweet Tour, which ended last week.
As Adi continued, “Sabrina was not playing about [with] that rose being thrown at her,” the object that was being thrown on stage appeared to be a yellow rose.
Adi provided more context that might have contributed to Sabrina’s furious response after a number of TikTok users responded with claims that it appeared to be nothing.
Before this moment, she instructed everyone not to throw anything on the stage! Also, it turns out that, according to comments, “it’s a rose attached to handcuffs”!
Meanwhile, some people were unhappy with the singer’s actions, including one who wrote, “That’s so cringe God!”
A second remarked, “Sabrina is my love, and she has every right to be pretty tired of people throwing things at her on stage, but she didn’t have to do it.”
A third person expressed disapproval, noting that “hurling stuff onto the stage is disrespectful, but she could have simply tossed it off the stage.”
Some people also expressed their support for the Espresso singer. One TikTok user criticized her for saying, “She throwing the rose back is disrespectful, it’s not.” People are throwing things on stage after someone had thrown a shirt on stage and she had specifically warned against doing so.
Because the rose wasn’t dethroned, she could have been hurt, which is a safety hazard, or if she hadn’t noticed one of her back up dancers or herself could have fallen, they are disrespecting her and are not respecting her wishes.
Another remarked that it could be dangerous for people to throw objects on stage. And if she permits just one fan, everyone will start as well.
Third party said, “Y’all don’t know how dangerous one thrown object can be on a stage. One accepted rose quickly turns into several, and it won’t just be thrown roses.
“Plushies can become dangerous even tripping.” Safety is the reason those stage floors are bare. You wouldn’t want your favorite to suffer as a result of your actions, wouldn’t you?
