Sabalenka v Kyrgios in ‘Battle of Sexes’ to be shown live on BBC One

On December 28th, BBC One will broadcast Aryna Sabalenka and Nick Kyrgios’ exhibition match “Battle of the Sexes.”

In Dubai, Sabalenka, the four-time Grand Slam champion, will square off against Kyrgios, the previous Wimbledon champion.

Sabalenka, a Belarusian, has won two Australian Open titles and two US Open titles in her career to date. She has been a force on the WTA Tour for the past two years.

After a protracted layoff with a wrist injury, Australian Kyrgios, 30, reached the Wimbledon final in 2022. He only played five matches in 2025.

According to Evolve, the court will be modified after female players move on average 9% slower than their male counterparts, according to the organizers.

Therefore, Sabalenka’s side of the court will be reduced by 9%, with only one serve per point for each player.
