The BBC Radio 2 star has finally revealed that he is in a relationship and that he wants to have children after years of being quizzed about his love life.
Rylan Clark, a presenter for BBC Radio 2, has revealed that he is “very happy” after finding a new partner and that both he and his boyfriend are eager to start a family.
The former X Factor contestant split with his ex-husband Dan Neal in 2021 and the radio presenter’s romantic life has been the subject of huge curiosity and rumours among his followers ever since.
He revealed to documentary filmmaker Louis Theroux that, in the most recent episode of his Rylan: How to Be in Love podcast, he had found love once more.
Before Louis turned the tables and focused on Rylan, who had been posing a question that has been in fans’ minds for a while, Rylan had been the one to ask the questions.
Louis posed the question to Rylan, asking, “Am I right to believe that you’ve been in a relationship since starting this series”?
Rylan simply said, “I have. I’m very happy at the time of recording.
Rylan is considering having children in the future, Louis asked the host, “Yeah. 100%. I want children. He desires children.
He kept his guard and didn’t elaborate on who the potential new partner in his life might be, but he did point out how much managing his new romance has helped him with his new podcast. He continued, “I’ve picked up a number of tips. Perhaps this is where I’ve gone wrong in the past.
Rylan has previously opened up openly about the causes of the breakdown in their relationship.
The pair first connected when Dan appeared on the 2013 episode of Big Brother’s Bit on the Side alongside Rylan and the pair.
In 2014, the couple made their engagement announcement. Following their engagement, they exchanged vows at a celebrity-filled wedding celebration a year later.
As he embarks on a quest to “rediscover what love is,” Rylan has dedicated each installment of his podcast to conversation with various well-known personalities and experts.
Throughout multiple episodes, he chatted with personalities including Tasha Ghouri, Matt and Emma Willis, Calum Best and Stephen Fry, alongside professionals such as Dr Tara Swart and Philippa Perry.
Rylan has recently become a regular voice on our radios, despite his recent podcast project.
