Fighting

• In a sudden Russian attack on Zaporizhia in Ukraine, at least one person has died and 13 have been injured. Six children, three girls and three boys, are among the injured. The children range in age from three to six. The regional head said that everyone is receiving the necessary medical care.
• A dormitory in Zaporizhzhia was the subject of a report from the local authorities, which claimed several floors had been destroyed. Residential buildings were the site of a number of fires. According to officials, infrastructure facilities were also impacted.
• The Ukrainian Air Force reported that Russian forces fired drones, supersonic, and ballistic missiles overnight throughout all of Ukraine’s regions.

Sanctions

• According to Winston Peters, the foreign minister of New Zealand, the country is sanctioning an additional 65 shadow fleet members from Belarus, Iran, and North Korea who work to facilitate oil-related payments.
