Cristiano Ronaldo’s participation in this summer’s Club World Cup is being discussed, according to Gianni Infantino, president of FIFA.

Al-Nassr of Al-Nassr of the Saudi Pro League, Ronaldo’s team, was unable to make it to the expanded 32-team competition in the US.

Infantino claims that the 40-year-old Portugal forward, who is out of contract this summer, could still be a part of the new-look event.

Ronaldo’s great rival Lionel Messi was mentioned by Infantino in an interview with YouTuber and streamer IShowSpeed about his Inter Miami side playing in the opening game of the tournament on June 14.

Ronaldo might also participate in one of the teams at the Club World Cup, he added.

Who knows, who knows, because there are discussions with some clubs about hiring Ronaldo for the Club World Cup.

Ronaldo left Manchester United in mid-season to join Al-Nassr in 2022, and his five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s contract expires on June 30th.

The first time the Club World Cup is held in the summer and the first to feature more than eight teams this year.

Ronaldo might participate in the Club World Cup.

An unnamed Brazilian club had made an offer to Ronaldo, according to a report from the Spanish newspaper Marca last weekend.

One of the four Brazilian teams that has qualified was Renato Paiva’s question regarding Ronaldo last Sunday.

He laughed before saying, “December is only Christmas.” You can’t, however, reject a star like that if he arrived.

“I’m just answering the question; I don’t know anything.” However, as I previously stated, coaches always strive for perfection. Even at his old age, Ronaldo still has a goal-scoring machine. He would make a good team for creating chance after chance.

American businessman John Textor, who owns a majority stake in Crystal Palace, owns Botafogo.

Before joining Juventus in 2018, Ronaldo won the Champions League four times during his nine seasons at Real Madrid.

Real and Juve are two of the 12 European clubs that have qualified, along with Chelsea and Manchester City.

Ronaldo and Messi each won the Ballon d’Or between 2008 and 2017, before Messi added three more victories to give the 37-year-old Argentine forward an unprecedented eight victories.
